Color me extremely disappointed with Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels right now:
Gov. Mitch Daniels signaled this afternoon that Republicans should to drop the right-to-work bill that has brought the Indiana House to a standstill for two days and imperiled other measures.
Daniels told reporters this afternoon that he expects House Democrats will return to work if the bill dies. It would be unfortunate if other bills are caught up in the turmoil, he said.
He will not send out state police to corral the Democrats, the Republican governor said. The Democrat minority has right to express its views, he added.
The governor clung to his view that this is not the year to tackle right to work.

SIT DOWN, SHUT UP, AND GET THE F*** OUT OF THE WAY MITCH.
And that is the end of his already-slim hopes of becoming President.
Fork time.
Mitch Daniels next career will be as PR spokesman for The New Castrati
He’s done. Might be right on the merits for his state, but his comments undermined Scott Walker, a freshman GOP governor and for that sin alone Daniels must be eliminated from consideration.
I do believe he is done after this one. Just give them a little rope and they, well you know.....
mitch you are a little B - itch
I was going to post that same quote. Poor dumb SOB Gov thinks democrat fascists have a consciences. That alone disqualifies him from any higher office as far as I’m concerned. These are people who support spending tax money to murder millions in pursuit of their eugenics agenda, where did they suddenly come up with consciences?
Regards
Yep, he’s cooked.
If your enemy is destroying itself, shouldn’t one step back and let it happen rather than betraying your own forces? A RINO wuss is worse than a liberal.
There is a tide in the affairs of men
Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;[If it is] Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries. On such a full sea are we now afloat,
And we must take the current when it serves,
Or lose our ventures.-- William Shakespeare from his play Julius Caesar
When are they going to play hardball? Ever? That’s why these Republicans were elected in the first place.
Wow. Another “John McCain School of Leadership” graduate.
I think he actually is trying to appear presidential. He is wrong. I think he fancies himself as a serious candidate...not after today though. He blew it big time...Rino!
Another sniveling, gutless asshole reveals himself for what he is.
When will they learn....we dont elect them to compromise with JACKASSES. They are sent to serve our best interests, not those of the DUmocrats and compromise only leads to appeasement and surrender of our principles to accomodate the wishes of the LIEberal minority.
The problem with Mitch is that he is not socially conservative. He would be another GWB and be AWOL on things like abortion and gay marriage.
The time to fight is NOW. Mitch should have call the dums to come back and threaten to have a special session until all things are done.
Daniels is a true conservative. He just wants a truce on social issues and fiscal issues, and if necessary national security and invidual liberty issues. Can’t you Tea Party rabble rousers understand that the only way to promote true conservatism is to surrender to the Democrats and the RINOs on every single issue. /sarc
Once they get it, they become their despicable selves.
2 words...scott brown (no, I WILL NOT capitalize his name).
How did this ball-less wonder get elected anyway?
