You, apparently, are ignorant of Islam and the Bible as well. This isn’t going to have a happy ending.

They were protesting food shortages and economic problems.

The MSM are the ones who declared it was about freedom.
Chile is rioting over food. NOT freedom.

where do you get your news from?

Seriously you have no idea that code pink is over there and have been getting money for this.
This has NOTHING to do with Bush or Reagan this is a far left wing take over with the help of radical muslims.

Ayers has been over there a few times since obama chose that city to do his speech, unions have been sending money,

I can’t even believe I’m having to explain on here to an y poster that the far left socialists, marxists and radical muslims are behind this, and yet you think they should be treated with respect

again where on earth have you been the last two weeks and years?

There is no guarantee of what will end up, but at this point these people have overthrown tyranny, not to be ruled over but to be free...that is a cause of celebration!

The protesters are young brains of mush. They're easily swayed by the radical socialist left and the socialist brotherhood - just like the young people here in the U.S. were swayed to vote for Oboma because he looked good on a t-shirt.
Forgive them, for they know not what they do.

Thanks.
It is difficult to know, seeing as the media is long on talk of freedom and empty on facts.

I’m stunned that people on here still do not know that code pink is over there and radical left wing groups are there too

The neo-cons are not able to understand logic they are just idealistic fools. There are dozens if not hundreds of threads showing the connection between the Islamists and US Maxists.

This all began with the flotilla which was done to stir up the Muslims, then they sent Marxists who were "professional protesters" who went to Egypt to educate the mob we currently see on TV.

Then they found an event, and that was the trigger to let loose the masses.

I'm not going to waste my breath on the neo-con idealists.

He questioned my education. I have a masters, I worked for Congress, I know a lot about worldwide politics. They don't care they just are idealistic and think that everyone can function under a democracy even if they are terrorists like the Muslim Brotherhood who killed Sadat and claim their goal is to destroy Israel.

So I'm just going to ignore them. They are stuck in the mud and not worth arguing with.

“What is your opinion then on Lebanon being taken over by Hamas after only 10% of them were elected by the people? Do you see them as being liberated? What of Iran in ‘79? Are they liberated people? Is the world better off?

You are blind.”

Not all movements end up in freedom, but how would you suggest Egyptians become free? They have overthrown tyranny with very limited violence, that is more than we can say about ourselves isn’t it? Can you not think of any revolution, peaceful or otherwise that ended up in liberty? Like maybe the American revolution? Or, how about the overthrow of the Soviet Union? Look at how well Iraq is doing...my God, do you prefer to support tyranny over a people than risk for liberty? I suggest that it is you who is blind my friend...

OMG are you blind or been living on an island with no communication

again where have you been getting your news from, Oprah, NBC channel or something

You mean Hizbollah. Hamas is in Gaza.

So Carter loses Iran and Zero loses Egypt.

Ironically, it was Carter who won Egypt in 1978, then drunk with success he ousted the Shaw and lost Iran to the fundamentalists.

think you’re talking to an MSNBC viewer, this just shows how doomed we are that we have a couple mainly one though who has no clue about what is going on over there and thinks a free country will prevail

Hmmm, you appear to have issues of low self esteem...I was not questioning your education. But I do question your thinking and philosophy.

In a nutshell...would you prefer to support tyranny rather than risk for liberty? That is really what we are talking about here. Will your fear of the worst overtake your conviction for people, who have the exact same rights you do, to be free?

Those are really all that matters here, nothing else...there are no other issues.

He should just go to Daily Kos or Huffington Post because they would agree with him.

I'm glad that the rest of the posters on this thread have a brain. Posters like that reduce the IQ of this website and IMO should have their posts nuked because they make the rest of us look stupid.

But when he said I was uneducated that was the sign that he had no clue what he was talking about. I guarantee he can't even name the leaders of the other Islamist countries and what is going on in Yemen, Jordan, Syria, Turkey, oh and the fact that the Suez Canal will now be controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood.

Something tells me the Muslim Brotherhood will not be in favor of letting oil bound for the US flow through the Suez canal.

Sad to see such delusion, almost makes you wonder if some leftist had the guy infiltrate FR in 2004 so he doesn't look like a newbie that could be immediately zotted.

Pro-liberty Americans were behind the first three. The forth is being navigated by radical leftists and Jihadists. See the difference?

To: Dengar01; Wpin

all wpin has to do is to educate him or herself for 30 mins on all of this and then they might understand how the left have been staging this for years and since obama chose that city to give his nod for the protest.

Wpin thinks they just got out of bed fed up and went on a protest and seems to not understand that code pink etc are there and Soros is behind this

“As Michael Scheuer [former head of the Bin Laden unit and ME expert] said on Fox this AM, it’s counter-intuitive to think that the Egyptian people, in this time of tumult, are going to reach for a totally foreign concept such as secular democracy, something they’ve NEVER known, instead of something that has sustained them for thousands of years, their faith. Not likely. Liberty, as WE know it, is OUR dream. The Egyptians are not familiar with it.”

I have faith in God, who gave us all freedom and the desire to live free. I really do not care what Mr. Scheuer has to say about it...it is just his opinion. I refuse to support tyranny over any people...these people have done more to be free than we have in our lifetimes...they deserve our respect. Not just our fears and anxieties.
