Octogenarians like Akaka, and Lautenberg need to retire.
RINO Lugar should definitely consider retiring.
Bingaman in NM is no spring chicken. Heather can beat him.
Stabenow in Michigan is a Cow.
Casey in PA is an empty suit. Unfortunately, Fraud in Philly will be impossible to overcome in a presidential year.
Of the 10 GOP seats that are up..maybe one will be close...Dems will have to spend big $$$ to defend maybe 14 seats..
Fearless prediction...at some point soon you'll read a piece about if, in a perfect storm, the GOP can get a 60 seat majority in the Senate..it's possible
A current poll (yes its Democratic PPP) doesn't look good for Heather and worse for Pearce:
With a 56-27 approval-disapproval margin, Bingaman is more popular at home than all but four of the 77 colleagues which PPP has measured in the last year or so. This strong favor with his voters gives Bingaman formidable odds to walk to re-election, even against Johnson, whose 44-32 favorability rating makes him considerably the best liked of the non-Bingaman candidates, and who is almost equally popular with Democrats, Republicans, and independents.Johnson comes closest to beating the incumbent, yet still trails, 51-40. By comparison, Rep. Steve Pearce lags Bingaman, 57-34, and Rep. Heather Wilson trails, 56-37.
Bingaman safe, Johnson Dems only threat in open seat race
“Stabenow in Michigan is a Cow.”
LOL sorry but i loved this analysis thank you for the laugh
The 2014 election looks good as well. Twenty Democrats and only 13 Republicans.

I’m thinking 60 GOP senators in 2015 is possible.
I don’t know whether I’d rather run against Webb or whichever Democrat ends up running; unless it’s someone who voted for Obamacare in the House (like Periello) or was publicly in favor of it (like Kaine), you know that the Democrat will pretend that he would not have voted for Obamacare and will vote to uphold traditional Virginia values.
I hope so, I live in Montana.
BUT - though we have had several Republican senators (and Denny Rheberg would be a fine one - he's universally loved as our sole congressman) - in the history of Montana only ONE Republican senator has ever been reelected (Conrad Burns) and John Tester defeated him (Burns).
We are a solid Red state on the Presidential front, but we do elect some real doofuses as senators - like Max Bachus (Phew!).
Stabenow is such a cow her husband has to pay hookers for sex
Let me ask this: How many do we need to pick up to take control? Then, how many above THAT to make our control filibuster proof?
