I doubt we’re far from it either.

I notice the signs were identical to the signs ANSWER had provided for rallies earlier in the week but this time they didn’t have the ANSWER endorsement on them.

Guess Glenn and Savage have pushed them into hiding.

I can see some kind of idiosyncratic logic in it, but I think all the two of them together will be able to do is to destroy, not create or even maintain anything workable. Once they’ve torn down everything they can, if they’re allowed to, they’ll just turn on each other, and I doubt to the left’s purpose or profit. Things like the so called feminism, multiculturalism, and tolerance of deviant sexuality are not high on any devout Mohammadan agenda, except as things to suppress and crush in the name of the one God, one final prophet, one caliph, one caliphate, one belief, one idea, one vote, once.

The Hamas Covenant which is basically the muslim constitution says that treaties made with none muslims aren’t really valid but they are still used as a means of getting their way.

Two-language article, with Tariq Ramadan’s words interspersed, on Islamic Socialism:

“Ramadan prefers to see the family legacy in terms of “Islamic socialism, which is neither socialist, nor capitalist, but a third way.” In this reading, his father’s friendship with Malcolm X is much more significant than any Saudi Arabian connection. This is why Ramadan was a popular speaker with African-American Muslims before his visa was revoked.

“Western Muslims and the Future of Islam” throws some light on Ramadan’s idea of “Islamic socialism,” an ideology, combining religious principles with anticapitalist, anti-imperialist politics, that goes back to the time of the Russian Revolution...”

Here’s an interesting quote.

The improvement of leftist-Islamist relations can largely be traced to two factors. First is the evolution of a new left in Egypt whose two main pillars are the Revolutionary Socialist Organization and a growing left-leaning human rights community. This new left has different attitudes toward Islamism than those held by the previous “communist waves.” Second is the generational change within both the left and the Brotherhood cadres spurred by the revival of Egyptian street politics, thanks to the second Palestinian intifada.

I tried the show again for the first time in a year. I gave up after ten minutes. He says nothing. Oooooh. There have been Islamics hoping for revolution in Egypt since 2008. Stop the presses. Really.

From the “Hadith Key”:

ETHICAL SYSTEM
Sahih Bukhari’s collection, Volume 7, Book 67, Number 427::
[***] By Allah, and Allah willing, if I [[Muhammad]] take an oath and later find something else better than that, then I do what is better and expiate my oath. [[Refer to Koran 66:2]]

So much for oaths.

Further

“The anti-war movement, successor of the pro-intifada movement, evolved again by the end of 2004 into an anti-Mubarak movement, composed of two organizations. One was Kifaya (the Egyptian Movement for Change), a coalition made up primarily of members of the breakaway Nasserist faction Karama, individuals from the liberal al Ghad Party, figures from the Egyptian Communist Party and veterans of the 1970s student movement. The other wing was the Popular Campaign for Change, which was more Marxist in composition, and included the Revolutionary Socialists, left-wing human rights activists and independent leftists. The two organizations more or less fused together in the months to follow. Kifaya’s sometimes quixotic and theatrical street actions attracted public attention, and helped to break taboos in Egypt’s political life by issuing direct challenges—without euphemisms—to the president and his family.”

I think this is Beck's best work in quite a while. Since he's taking so much heat for it, I know it must be hitting a sore spot. This stuff reminds me that I need to order this book.

What is so totally disgusting about the situation is that GB is explaining the dangers of Islam, its teachings and its untrustworthy followers, and no one in government is paying any attention.

I don’t think that Congress even cares about the muslim cancer that is spreading rapidly in our country. I don’t hear them talk about it.

Once you know the “template” to look for, just about every one of those leftist protest posters looks the same. That’s such an easy clue-in on who’s backing a particular “grassroots” protest.
