With a new Republican Governor in Ohio, John Kasich,the tide may be turning to a Right-to-Work state.
This Columbus Dispatch poll... when I first looked at it, was running 90% 'YES' & 10% 'NO';
HOWEVER, MORE RECENTLY, IT WAS 77% 'YES' & 23% 'NO'
I think the poll need to hear from Free Republic members/fans!

What an odd question.
Would this also mean they gladly receive the non-union pay and benefits?
SCOTUS Beck decision sell this is ‘settled science’ as Algore would say.
You don’t have to now....google Beck Decision......I worked for a company that was Union, but now I work for one that is not...I’ll take the non-union any day...At least the people that work here come to work not just collect a pay check and I don’t have to carry their load while the union protects them.....Unions are useless they exist only to protect the lazy bast%rds that don’t want to work......and if you want to know what union I was in it was the CWA...useless bunch of crooks....
They’re obviously gaming the board over there.
I responded yes, people should be able to work without joining the union.
I made the following comment, but the registration seems to have hung up, so I’m not sure it got posted.

Every qualified individual should be able to work, whether they wish to join a separate organization or not.
Try this on for size. Should a person be able to work if they won’t become a Republican?
Nuff said...
The more important question is whether or not they have to pay union dues. In the airline industry, union membership is not required, but it is mandatory to pay the dues.
Unions are for dummies that work for jerks.
Don't be a dummy.
Don't work for a jerk.
