I thought she couldn’t fit them in her schedule. She’s a busy person you know. What snubbing?

The news that Sarah Palin wont be attending CPAC next week doesnt come as much surprise. For those keeping score, shes now been invited three times and said no thanks each time....The source called the annual gathering an example [of] "special interests over core beliefs" and "pocketbook over policy." "That's not what CPAC should be about and people are tiring," the source said. Ping for later

The criticism of CPAC was fueled by a report that David Keene, president of the American Conservative Union, had asked FedEx for between $2 million and $3 million to get the group's support in a bitter battle on Capitol Hill with rival UPSTHAT crook is still running the place? Now its even morally corrupt

Years ago CPAC was IT...it is so dead now, just a bunch of trust fund squishy youth running around..selling their straw poll vote to the candidate that will buy them the most drinks..

Dang. I went to CPAC three times back in the 1990's. Back then, it really was cool.
I guess that I am not missing much now.

Perhaps Palin doesn’t like the Muslim Brotherhood takeover of CPAC and the ACU.

Smart move by Sarah. CPAC is hardly conservative any more and why support corrupt scum like David Keene and Grover Norquest.

A Palin source
bashed CPAC and its leader David Keene
That word was VERY carefully chosen, I believe. When people say that homosexuality is a sin, homos call that "bashing". They even have an organization: "Bash Back." The implication here is that Palin "bashes" "gays", and by extension that Keene is a homosexual, which I have also heard.

CPAC doesn’t represent conservative values...its a place where the establishment posers can hide in plain sight.

Remember Keene is the guy that waited almost a year to figure out a set of votes he could use to get Mel “Senior Amnesty” Martinez a 100% ACU. No doubt he did it to satisfy Tokyo Rove and W when they were deluding themselves into thinking they could make illegal aliens Republicans. Nevertheless the damage was done.Martinez was a failure as an RNC chair and a fool as a Senator.
