Heavy gunfire resounded in the area around Cairo's Tahrir Square early Thursday as the battle between allies and foes of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak entered a second day.

The army will let the mubarak thugs beat up the islamists for a while then takeover.

You cannot order people to leave. You can only state that you cannot guarantee their safety, especially if those folks that normally help you in times of crises,..are leaving the country.
