16 Cover their faces with shame, LORD,
so that they will seek your name.
(The end point of it all...)
DAMN! Now what are we going to watch on Discovery?
CNN is show this now.
Anarchy.
Watching the vids of the clashes made think that this is how anchient warfare must have been like. Big crowds with scatterings out front doing the fighting with one crowd suddenly turning to flee with the other giving chase.
I saw Brian Williams broadcast last evening too!!! Who knew that it really is that (ahem) ‘single, mom’ with a ‘cell phone’ and nine other volunteers doing ALL that organizing. (Btw, the angst that report must have caused back at NBC in NYC...the ‘single mom’ was holding (shudders) a cigarette!!!)
Fascinating, wasn’t it??? And then Savanah Guthrie told us how Obama’s ‘plan’ for Mobarak NOT to seek reelection was, well what Mobarak was actually doing.
(SE Mom, please add me to your ping list)
At least the BBC did have a disclaimer that they had no evidence the Pro-Gov people were paid agitators.
Unlike the rest of the media.
About Cooper, does CNN know whether he was beat up because he is pro-demonstrators or because he is homosexual. Radical Islamist consider Homosexuality a a death crime.
For those who may not know, the “pro-democracy protesters” (LOL!) beheaded those mummies at the Museum because they represent Egypt prior to the birth of Islam, and in their tiny minds, everthing that existed prior to Mohammed was evil. Cutting their heads off was a sign of contempt for ancient Egyptian culture and history.
watching the live feed from bbc news.. random gunfire can be heard
Pleas good Lord in heaven, NO.
Anderson Cooper started ALL of this mayhem. He just couldn’t keep his hands to himself. But why did he have to grab an IMAM’s ass?
What??? What happened to Anderson Cooper??? Is there incivility in Cairo?
Peripheral effects...

WARSAW, Poland Poland’s foreign minister warned Belarus’ autocratic president on Wednesday that he risks being overthrown by his own people if they decide to follow the example of protesters in Tunisia and Egypt.
“Soon a jet plane will have to be kept on standby in Minsk,” Radek Sikorski said, referring to the capital of Belarus. “You are losing ... sooner or later you will have to flee your own country, your own people.”
Sikorski spoke at international donors’ conference in Warsaw where governments pledged millions in aid for the democratic opposition in Belarus, which faces censorship and the constant threat of arrest under President Alexander Lukashenko.

I’m for anyone who isn’t going to slaughter the Coptic Christians and Jews.
Same here.
I’m sick to think that the museum is going to go. I wonder where Zahi Hawass is? All these cameras and he’s not in front of one for once.
If Obama intervenes, he’ll side with the MB and the bloodbath will begin.
1604: Witnesses tell BBC Arabic that the camels and horses that charged anti-government demonstrators in Tahrir Square earlier belonged to people who work at the Pyramids in Giza. They were apparently angry that the unrest was driving away tourists from Cairo and hurting their businesses.
“Political tags such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire. The former are idealists acting from highest motives for the greatest good of the greatest number. The latter are surly curmudgeons, suspicious and lacking in altruism. But they are more comfortable neighbors than the other sort.” Heinlein
