President Barack Obama on Friday defended his health-care law in the face of continued Republican-led calls for repeal, declaring that the time to fight the overhaul has passed.

Obama was speaking at the annual conference of Families USA, a liberal advocacy group that played a big role in the health-care overhaul.

Obama's audacity knows no limits -- he and the Dems had to bribe their own members of Congress to pass this monstrosity, AGAINST the will of the American people and now they want everyone to just be quiet and bow.

I hope these kinds of statements will have the opposite effect and reenergize the resistance to the government takeover of our healthcare.

Sounds like my liberal relatives (thank goodness there are only two of them).... then if I try to continue the “debate” I am accused of being “argumentative”, a “sore loser”, “overly defensive”, or just “thick-headed”. When they say the discussion is over, they mean it is over. Hopefully the GOP is more deft at dealing with these tactics then I am with the relatives.
