Instead Obama went to Cairo and praised the Muslim world uncritically and criticized the US for interference.

Factoid of note: Our Dear Leader's speech was before the MB...

A few years back, I went down to Hollywood. There I observed the A.N.S.W.E.R. hoards as they passed by my location.

The large four lane street with a pull out lane in the middle was occupied for miles by some of the most disgusting humans on planet earth. Every vile sign you could think of was present in that protest.

There were something like fifteen to twenty people abreast, and the march lasted for over half an hour.

A few well placed cameras along that event would lead you to think the majority of U. S. citizens agreed with the outlook of these protesters. Most of our citizens would convulse at the sight of what was going on, on our soil.

People have no idea that there are globalist puppet masters driving these events. They cost money. They require support. If not support, they require students and others who are being paid or given something in return for their participation.

Having organized events like this, I can guarantee you it’s not easy to get folks to come out. There is money and favors being spread around.

Travel is figured in. Signs are figured in. Special guests have been flown in. A myriad of representatives from fellow-traveler organizations have been flown in. This group even has people from South American, and Asia on sight. And some of these people are admitted members of terrorist groups from around the world.

They protest in the U. S. They protest in Europe. They protest in Asia. And they protest in the Middle-East and Africa.

If people could only grasp what fellow travelers these people are and have, they would understand quickly how vile what is taking place in that region is.

This is not a freedom campaign. It is an oppression campaign. If they win, look out!

I’m glad you and I see this for what it is.

Gibbs: Obama had 40 minute briefing this morning. Aides met midday and then rebriefed Obama. Obama hasn’t spoken to Mubarek. It’s not about picking a person. State monitoring the situation. Want internet turned back on. Legitimate grievancews must be addressed immediately by Egyptian govt. Violence not a response.

Al Jazeera: People form Human Shield to protect Egypt Museum from looters.

The military ought to be doing that.

The only way to beat the ruthless is to be more ruthless.

And the Coptic Christians aren’t ruthless. The only ruthless ones in those neighborhoods are jihadists.

Bet your bottom dollar, P-M, that this will be a return of radical Islamic nationalism to Egypt.

‘67 war....Israel beware.

So...we’re better off with Mubarak.

I do agree that the impetus is also economic from all aspects of society.

But who is the most organized and motivated to take advantage of chaotic conditions and a power struggle or vacuum. The MB.

This administration doing a briefing on this subject matter will be disastrous. I can here it now... “It is with a sad heart that we feel it necessary to urge President Mubarak to step down, in order to end the unrest and save lives.”

3, 2, 1...

You’d think the Egyptian officers meeting over at the the Pentagon would have a better idea about what’s going on. Someone should ask the folks over at the DoD.

Gibbs: let Egyptians decide what will happen. Should be strong restraint on military and security forces. Can’t compare to Tunisia. Will be reviewing aid based on what happens in next few days. Another meeting of higher aides in the morning. In contact with levels of Egyptian govt.

Well I suggest you all enjoy the Pyramids and stuff, I have feeling they will be blown up like the Taliban blew up the ancient Buddha Statutes...

My sentiments exactly... Some FR’s Tuts are goiing to be melted down for cash. Egyptologists hardest hit... looking for new lines of work while collecting unemployment checks.

History and Discovery channels cancel all shows on Ancient Egypt since there is nothing to show and no artifacts to dig up...

Well the Gibbs show is in full swing now Live from D.C. here are some real pearls from Mr. Fibbs

“They need to turn the internet and social networking sites back on.”

“The Egyptian government must be responsible for maintaining order.”

“We respect their right to demonstrate.”

“This will be solved by the Egyptian regime.”

“We are monitoring the situation.

"I am unaware of any conversation the President has had with World Leaders on this topic."

Obama hasn’t spoken to Mubarek. It’s not about picking a person.

Well that settles that. I'd be calling the helicopter in if I were Mubarek.
