Former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson threw his support behind Mohamed ElBaradei in Egypt on Monday, even as the Nobel laureate criticizes the Obama administration for its approach in the region.
Richardson, who recently flew to North Korea on what the White House said was an unofficial trip, said on MSNBC that ElBaradei is the United States best hope to replace Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, who he said he hopes goes soon. He acknowledged that ElBaradei, whom protesters have embraced, has been taking shots at the United States.
ElBaradei told CNN on Sunday from his home that President Obamas approach to Egypt has amounted to a failed policy and that it is lagging behind.

He just doesn’t get it. ElBaradei is nothing more than a “Kerensky” whom the MB will toss aside once they consolidate their power.
Having the cell doors unlocked and swung wide open is hardly a definition for “Breaking out”!
LIPSTICK ON PIG ALERT!!!

President Obama has asked to be briefed on the revolt in Egypt “multiple” times each day, a senior administration official said.
The president’s approach, per the official: The President has been very closely monitoring the situation in Egypt. Hes requested multiple briefings each day, and has personally made key decisions. For example, at approximately 4:15pm on Friday, the President dropped into a previously scheduled Principals Committee meeting on a different topic so that he could discuss Egypt with his top foreign policy advisors. At that meeting, the President decided to call President Mubarak and to make a statement to the American people. That said, it has not interrupted his domestic policy schedule at all.

He thinks he’s going to be the next secretary of state when Hillary resigns.
Thanks for cross posting!
dang... I love the open unlocked door on my padded room PHYCHO-FREEP. I close it behind me, but so far, no-body's locked it. I can go crazy, for a while in there, and not hurt anyone nor even harm myself.
I love you PSYCHO-FREEP. (smile)
I wonder if this would or could happen in America, we have already seen several instances the media control of Tea Party gatherings, peaceful protesters historical in size and scope, but the MSM and the Whitehouse ignored them.
America wants obama removed, America wants a return to what America is namely a Republic.
Obama is by almost every description a dictator sitting in the WH, and America believes that he will go quietly away if he should be voted out, but he controls voter fabrication, he controls the same class of predators namely the Clintons.
But obama wants America to act exactly like Egypt, our military may not be strong enough to remain neutral, not with it riddled with Islamic sympathizers. But undeniably we do have possible new leadership waiting to be thrust forward unlike Egypt. Also we have an unimaginable resource at our disposal of arms and ammunition that we can use to repel a hostile regime from forming in America.
The obama regime is treading softly hoping to not wake up America to the reality its being converted to a dictatorship. And with the MSM singing its lullabye sing song chant of nothing is wrong go back to sleep its no wonder America isn’t as reactive such as Egypt is.
But I would bet it all that if the MSM, internet and cell services were gone for more than a week America too will awke and do just what Egypt is doing, question is this, would obama want it to happen? By all indications he does indeed, for more control.
Listen to Rush, he is talking about the fact that there are 4 hot spots over there that are all potentially ready to erupt. It all hinges on a few key elements which will determine the direction it goes.
As far as a country, we have all the right things here to take care of ourselves. We may have to give up a few things, but we will still have more than we need. It may even strengthen our solidarity and help us take back our country.
Watch the markets closely. Oil prices will lead the way. Especially if Obama tries to cap prices and freeze/ration gas at the pumps. Obama is too stupid to understand what this will do to the supply or the economy. Hang in there, we'll be OK.
*ping*
Anything else to keep an eye on???
I’m tell ya we are seeing the beginning of the end of Two presidencies. One in Egypt and one in th USA.
The question will be “Who Lost Egypt”?
Answer: PresidentWTF.
Much agreed.
One of the most interesting things about recent events was what Trump has been saying, that because of what happened in Egypt with all the egg on the face of obama that Trump will be taking advantage of this and anouncing that he wishes to be nominated.
And that he believes OPEC will collapse.
Plus in my personal view is that he believes Sarah Palin will NOT be any competitive threat to him and his running mate.
I’m telling you, if Trump is really serious about this, and isn’t just running as a publicity stunt, he might surprise people. He would definitely come off as the most knowledgeable on foreign issues, over Palin, Huckster and Romney in a debate.
More news from AOL on efforts to get our citizens out of Egypt, as well as other information.

I heard Trump admires Sarah but if Trump think he can beat Sarah well let him try.
Get out of debt......own a chunk of land outside of the large urban areas, and settle there.
Tyrannical governments get the tightest control when the population is gathered together and completely dependent on food, water and shelter from a Government provided infrastructure. All they need to do is threaten to shut it down to control the population.
And if Anarchy ever does break out, the rural folk will survive. We control the food and land and the urban types can’t survive out here in the wild without us.
If this country ever does melt down and needs to be rebuilt, it will be rural folk who will get it back on it’s original constitutional footing the quickest.
