Might be worth calling them on it
This happens every year. It has been happening, to my knowledge, since the early 1990s, and probably before that. While admirable, it is not exactly news.
Figures. Two million is evidence of a swell of grass roots and a knowledge that whether it’s covered or not, we’re there and we’re more numerous than you want to know.
That is sad. Is CSPAN showing any of it?
FAUX News is just a bunch of right-wing Leftists.
Their blackout must be working.
I’ve never heard of it.
They had a story around the 1:30 p.m. timeframe.
And people think I’m nuts when I say Fox news is liberal too, just not as liberal as most of the others.
Bottom line is that the MSM can not really be trusted. And yes, that includes Fox.
Fox news covered it on TV a few times today.
We shouldn’t be too hard on the libertarian Fox News - at least they didn’t miss the story about Oprah’s long lost sister and UFO’s and crop circles. Because that’s really, really important breaking news, right? Sheesh!
There was a piece on Megan Kelly’s show about is earlier today.
Back in the time of Newt, I happened to be in DC at the time of this event. I was thrilled to attend, all by myself. The crowd was so insular, that I couldn’t get anyone to chat with me. I was very weird and off-putting.
People still don’t get it, they are looking for the same thing, complete control of its subjects. More big money telling the idiot population what it wants it to know.
I can’t often do that kind of trip, but I did go on the March for Life with a group from our church some years ago. There were about 500,000 of us that year. The buses filled the stadium parking lot where we were taken.
The media basically ignored it. The NY Times ran a back page story with two photos, one a carefully taken picture of right-to-lifers and the other a “matching” picture of the 20 or 30 pro-aborts who staged a counter march. No photos suggesting the size of the crowd, of course.
Well...If getting publicity is the goal then I am calling the March for Life STUUUUUPID!!!!
Suggestion:
**March in New York directly in front of the doors of the mainstream media. Make it hard for these guys and gals to get to work.
** How about a peaceful and silent vigil in front of the homes of the CEOs of these media outlets? I suggest that the participants wear black, put tape across their mouths, and stare at these guys and gals leave for work. What if they all spontaneously decided to quietly and peacefully lie down in the streets? Nap time anyone?
**Or...Learn from the young people who communicate with cell phone and twitter. What about spontaneous flash mobs to congregate where these guys and gals meet?
LOL! People here still bleiev Prince Al Waleed’s Fox News is our friend or that ANYONE in TV is our friend. ALL TV is s***.
It looks like FR ignored it too. where are the posts?
Fox News interviewed several people live in the march today. I saw it.
They were covering it on their noon show when I was home for lunch.
