There was Sarah Palin again Monday, assuring Sean Hannity on Fox News that she was not going to be silenced, no matter what abuse might come her way. Other people are facing much greater hardships and making greater sacrifices than I am in just engaging in debate, said the woman who reportedly made $250,000 per episode of her recently concluded reality show.
She added, several times, This isnt about me.
A lot of Republicans in Washington certainly wish that were the case. But as the new House majority begins its push this week to scale back the Obama agenda, it seems that the president now has, in Ms. Palin, something he badly needed after a punishing election season: the ideal political foil.

I think the press who are an arm of the Democrat party did far more than the politicians.
It is not the ridicule. It is the fact checking and embarassment it causes the faux President. If I had not posted this, another poster would not have given me this link...
Never would be my guess. Wine "drinkers" vs. beer "pounders." No bias there.
However, "a bunch of us" applies to a very wide demographic and we do have other equally sterling sources for scientists and doctors. A little intellectual humility goes a long way. I'll try to take that advice myself...someday. ;-)
Perhaps ridicule was not the right word with which to make my point. That is, if conservatives didn’t call these sources out for inaccuracy, bias, etc., would they get so much attention in the first place?
It is an argument. I think that to ignore the constant lie and hope it will go away is how the country has gone so far down the tubes as it has though.
One of the reasons that conservatives have gained the house, and so many seats in the senate is because of our heightened state of awareness.
consider the source.
It is not the source of their education that matters - it is the content of their work (or the emptiness of their heads).
There are just as many libtards from Michigan - or dare I list UNC? Or Bezerkely? Or Arizona - Or Colorado, or anywhere. (OK - except Texas and Oklahoma, and some similar schools). in fact - just writing this - the geography obviously jumps out. Wisconson - Libtard state - libtard school. etc. (Almost forgot Duke - remember a certain LAX case? ...)
You should not fall for the “class warfare in sheep’s clothing” that is this reflexive “IL put down”.
The degree only confers the energy you give it - so I’m just warning you off of the easy negative energy. I would bet the data is more geographic than “IL” related.
Obama has nightmares about Palin. He knows she can kick his butt in 2012 so he has the MSM run interference for him.
Can’t wait until the 2012 campaign! Sarah and we the people versus Obama and the corrupt MSM. Bring it on!
Where have I seen that smiling smug?
They now have their new marching orders and renewed vigor.
Yep, they don't get a good rise with using the Bush bogeyman anymore.
Given television is a liberal bastion, I wonder to what end the this out of context, snarky little comment was intended?
Oh, my, I think you’ve got it! Even their ears are the same shape!
There was in interesting article on NRO, that traced the liberal fear and need to control conservatives to an old article in Harper’s magazine, by Hofstadter in the late sixties. Hofstadter declared in the article that conservatives were evil and greedy and needed to be feared and controlled. Leftist academics have considered Hofstadter to be the definitive word on politics ever since and have been using this old article to mold the minds of a couple of generations of college students.
In other words, the left really believes in EVIL and they think we are it and that right is on the left, always, no matter what.
That's not correct, is it? I thought the show cost Discovery $1M per episode, but that's not all pure profit to Sarah Palin -- $250k/episode after costs might actually be on the mark.
I’m not privy to their contract, but I’ve read the $1 million dollar figure at several news websites.
