You are not the only one tired of the treatment by the media of this story. What about the countless women who have been murdered by deranged stalkers and crazed ex-boyfirends or spouses? Many of these victims made repeated pleas for protection from the lunatics that murdered them. It’s always the same “we can’t do anything until they prove themselves a threat to themselves or others. Unfortunately they usualy do in others before they harm themselves. The media has totally ignored the problem of those who are deranged and dangerous. While I see this is a terrible tragedy, the media’s treatment of this is overblown compared to when they covered Fort Hood, or the Border guard who was killed. Those IMO were just as tragic and worthy of our outrage...but then, the perps were either illegal or muslim, so no news here.
You got that right. We have so much collateral damage in Southern Arizona from illegal aliens, I can’t even begin to tell you. Sometimes they take out two or more of us at a time. Thanks to them, we are only down to one trauma center (granted, that DOES seem to be run extremely well).
Nothing, nada, we are spittle on the elites’ shoes as far as the open border. And not only murders and other violent crimes, Tucson is always in the top five for property and stolen vehicle crimes. (I “club” my truck everywhere, even in the better parts of town, because they love to steal our Fords.)
And then there are all the drug addicts and leftist-raised offspring running around like juvenile delinquents all day.
This is the town we live in, but *now* the media decided to pay a little attention to one incident. I wish they cared that much the rest of the time.
