Got a problem with a short attention span? That was a great speech. She looked and sounded Presidential and not like the gang-banger wantta be that occupies the Oval Office today. I hope Sarah runs in 2012.
I have to say that I wondered if she had help, as well. If she wrote that herself, well, just wow. And if she DOES have a speechwriter, kudos to her for getting a good one! That was freakin’ awesome.

In the future, could you please be more clear about WHO it is you are responding to. Just to clarify for ohers, those words were written by a writer for the Daily Kos.
She has an editor who writes for World Magazine. That women is one of the finest writers in the country. She has brilliantly crafted Sarah’s ideas, concepts, and “voice” into highly readable books & editorials.
That should put a big wet blanket on top of any grandstanding that Pelosi or Obama would use today.
For the record, I really don’t expect Obama to go in that direction but Pelosi is another matter.

Interesting take. I am very critical of her appearances. I have watched the Alaska series, and I agree with many of the complaints about her speech patterns and quality of her voice. That is why I watched this response so closely. I was watching to see any stumbles, any voice problems, anything to “spoil” an important response. As a result, I failed to notice how long it took. I was spellbound. Simply floored with the total package. And MOST importantly, it ceased to be a speech, a performance, and swept me up in moment of being assured there was a LEADER, ready to represent my ideals to the world.
Her best speech yet IMHO. Excellent!!
You may be giving Obama too much credit when it comes to “stupid”. Think of all the idiot things he’s said and how many he has offended around the world.
