I wish to make an offer to the liberals and democrats; that they all volunteer for a One-Way Mission to Mars. Since paying taxes is patriotic, then for those liberals they should consider it a great patriotic honor to volunteer for a One-Way Mission to Mars. Maybe they will discover a new health-care solution for all of us.
Just think of the benefits this FREE USA Country would then return to:
-
freedom of our personal property, freedom of a voice in our country
-
freedom of religion, freedom from liberal lies
-
freedom to choose our own health-care providers
-
freedom to pay constitutional taxes based upon actual needs
-
freedom from evil people trying to shovel into our face socialism
-
freedom from some many items its just too long to list

I think they want to join the super-duper mile-high club.

You lost me on the connection. There’s nothing wrong with volunteering to go to Mars.

Why? Isn’t everything because of Sarah Palin?
To: bibletruth
Well, odds are they probably used to live in Detroit. Mars would look like a picnic next to Downtown Detroit. :)

Can we use Cramden’s ‘Bang/Zoom’ or do we have to spend all those billions to ‘gently lift them’ out of the atmosphere?

A father of three should not be volounteering to abandon his kids to die on a faraway planet...

In my opinion, and other professionals in nuclear medicine, the level of radiation an astronaut will be exposed to on a Mars excursion will be lethal. The question is will they make it back first or die on the way home.

Since the mission wouldn’t launch for 20 years, his kids presumably would be all grown up.

I was hoping the 400 volunteers include the White House and its staff, PLUS the Congress, and its staf.....but that would put the number closer to 4000 than 400, I believe.

Well, the guy already looks middle aged, he’ll be an old man in 20 years. I doubt he’d be in any shape to be being tested to the limits of physical human endurance...

And according to some late-breaking news, they may well be sterile when they arrive.

My wife is one of the volunteers.
I'm saving the news as an anniversary surprise.
She has no idea I put her name in the hat.
Boy, I'm really gonna miss her.
