This is where the description of “lucid, but labored” may have come from—if he was drugged, it may have taken an enormous amount of energy to focus on the present.

I think that's what's going on.

Note that each of the people he encountered reported relatively clear statements, even if labored. Even if he were already in an altered state in the cab, it might not have come across.

People may have psychiatric/neurological conditions--from a CVA, trauma, drugs, whatever--and make statements that seem perfectly valid, while being totally off-base in reality. Note that a statement about getting a ride with his brother would have seemed fine to the person to whom it was said. It's only out of whack when we realize his brother is dead.

So he might very well have had some problem earlier than some people are estimating. I suspect he was already in a different state when he had his conversation with the pharmacist. I suspect that the sandwich shop personnel didn't see anything different but bloodshot eyes; even if he was telling them that he'd just come home from a trip to Harrisburg and was about to visit the Art Museum, it could have been perfectly "normal-sounding" to them.

In fact, he might have been envisioning a mugging just like he envisioned his brother's driving. Perhaps it was his mind trying to make sense of things.

I don't know what happened...I just want to throw out that caution.

I tossed around the brother/mother thing.

Might be one of those "My brother and mother were watching over me" and that's how I made it here.

I think many of us here have experienced that type of thought, i.e., they are our guardian angels.

I only thought of it because: I got in a bad car accident 20 years ago. Sitting in the car, in the shock of the moment, my first thought was..."Mom, he didn't feel a thing". My brother had been killed in a car accident 25 years before.

It still sits in my head....It's 47 years now..

Interesting thought...Also keep in mind people with head injury often become less cognizant as the swelling in the head increases.

Now that you mention it, I think something was wrong already when he went to Happy Harry’s.

Why would he ask the pharmacist for a ride? It seems he already had not remembered his car in the parking garage at the train station? How did he get to HH’s or to his house if he even was there?

Why call the cab and then leave and then get robbed? Or, was he robbed already and just didn’t tell the pharmacist?

I wish there were more details released about that.

My head is spinning.

Not to mention the news report today about the ‘new’ cabbie coming forward and saying he picked him up on the 29th!

D’Amico, Marini

While trying to tie Frank and Anthony together the other day went into some of the geology sites. Often ran across the D’Amico name. Check out the link above. amd then google the two names together....Could it be?

Also look at the list of current front companies....Waste management included.
