In fact, the Dill scenario is the one thing that fits. He got a ride on Christmas Eve to the train station and went to NYC to bring his wife her Christmas present. He sent a couple of emails...26th..stuck in NYC....27th..still stuck in NYC...He was at a meeting at Mitre in DC on Dec 28th.

Being that it is that time of year...After the meeting, I picture John telling different individuals Happy New Year...and perhaps someone asking John what he's going to do over the next few days...The Big Army Game is on the 30th.

The 29th....looks like he's headed back up north on business.....

NO CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR CONVERSATIONS WITH HIS KIDS??? WITH HIS WIFE???
