Dems Urge Obama to Pin Shooting on Tea Partiers
FoxNews ^ | jan 9, 2010 | FoxNews

The references to the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995 echoed in other ways. That horror, which killed 168 people including many children, helped then-President Bill Clinton stigmatize extreme anti-government rhetoric and re-energize his presidency at a time when Newt Gingrich and conservative Republicans were riding high in Congress.

One veteran Democratic operative, who blames overheated rhetoric for the shooting, said President Barack Obama should carefully but forcefully do what his predecessor did.

"They need to deftly pin this on the tea partiers," said the Democrat. "Just like the Clinton White House deftly pinned the Oklahoma City bombing on the militia and anti-government people."

I don’t think it’s going to be easy to paint this guy as someone who was influenced by the TP.

I don't either. The left is in full swarm mode but once the dust has settled I suspect things will basically resume from where they were.

Pathetic wide eyed subhumans crouched in a corner behind the door wringing thier hands in utter excitement, sweating and giggling uncontrollably at the news of this shooting, hoping some how that this was caused by a teapartier, a veteran, a white militia terrorist christan right wingnut.

Pretty much. As soon as the news of the shooting was reported, within seconds there were blog posts everywhere blaming Palin or the Tea Party. Not an ounce of compassion for the victims of this monster, they just salivated over the political points they could score.

Caddel is the Fox in house Democrat. I think he worked for Andrew Jackson and someone else since then, but he definitely qualifies as a “veteran adviser”.

This isn't 1995. Back then hardly anyone had Internet access, Fox News didn't exist, and most people still believed that Time and Newsweek were responsible purveyors of truth.

If they try it now, half the population will reject it out of hand, and they will foment more hate than a little bit.

If dear leader goes that route, he better be prepared to chew what he bites off, because that’ll be the last straw for many people. You don’t do what he’s done, then try and make yourself a dictator without some serious consequences.

"Democrats are framing his attack as the tragic-but-inevitable end result of a right-wing political culture that has become radicalized ORGANIZED since President Obama’s election."

There, fixed it.

It is SICKENING that democrats are using this tragedy to blame people who disagree with them! It is FOUL and absolutely, utterly, completely immoral.

It denigrates the Representatives work, and that of the Federal Judge this apparently very sick person murdered. And the little girl... the elderly..... its just utterly foul to USE their deaths to make POLITICAL accusations against a group which is demonstribly peaceful and respectful of others and their opions.

The vileness of this is something I will never forget, or forgive. I want to know WHO that Democrat operative IS, and I want him out on his ass in the snow without a job. Barred from politics forever. This just goes beyond the pale.

The world is upside down. I've never seen any mention of violence at a Tea Party. Yet at liberal rallies there are hundreds of pictures of people with death to Bush placards!

I hear on radio news that this happened because talk radio is too provocative! But Democrats can say whatever they want.

There is absolutely NOTHING the right did to provoke this crazy guy. We are not responsible for crazy nutjobs on the left or the right.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Dems were privately encouraging 0bama’s thugs to incite violence against Tea Party members.

Obama quotes - worth posting here for future reference.

“I think it’s tempting not to negotiate with hostage takers, unless the hostage gets harmed. In this case the hostage is the American people and I was not willing to see them get harmed,” — Obama on keeping taxes from increasing, December 6, 2010

“A Republican majority in Congress would mean “hand-to-hand combat” on Capitol Hill for the next two years, threatening policies Democrats have enacted to stabilize the economy,” — Obama, October 6, 2010

“If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,”— Obama in July 2008

“Here’s the problem: It’s almost like they’ve got — they’ve got a bomb strapped to them and they’ve got their hand on the trigger. You don’t want them to blow up. But you’ve got to kind of talk them, ease that finger off the trigger.” —Obama on banks, March 2009

“I want you to argue with them and get in their face!”— Barack Obama, September 2008

“We’re gonna punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us.”— Obama to Latinos, October 2010

“I don’t want to quell anger. I think people are right to be angry! I’m angry!” Obama on ACORN Mobs, March 2010 “We talk to these folks… so I know whose ass to kick.“ — Obama on the private sector, June 2010

Well...I answered an old friend who went from a Christian belief into being a full-blown lefty who is into lesbianism after 8 years of college to study philosophy.

She’s been posting articles on Facebook from other places about how awful the TEA Party is and how the violence “they” committed on Rep. Giffords was evil, and that the political climate engendered by the TEA Party is barbaric.

In answering her, I told her that you’re going to see a massive wave of TEA Partiers and conservatives across the country rise up and let the government know ‘what for’ IF Obama tries anything to silence us. I don’t imagine she’s going to take that very well.

There is his “They bring an Knife, we bring a gun” speech and how about the left’s hate and threats against George Bush, until Palin he got it all. Death threats included from the left all over the place.

This is why being defensive is not enough. It is important to counteract the liberals by pointing out that is guy is in fact much more like them.

This guy was into communist writings. The socialists are into communist writings. Who are the house and senate members who are open and proud members of the socialist party. Democrats.
The Third Reich is a concept of modern democrats and Rhino’s(democrats in disguise). It is not a conservative idealism.

Conservatives look at the big picture. They vision what the long term consequences of any action might be. And they look at all the consequences large and small. A true conservative is willing to except temporary pain if it means something better down the road for everyone. Even if that something better skips their lifetime.

Liberals can’t do that. They reason only in the here and now. They want to be pleased right here and now. They don’t look beyond that. And they take no personal responsibility for their actions on the lives of those around them who are in situations unlike themselves, or on the lives of those to come.
