Christina Taylor Green, nine-year-old victim in today’s Tucson shootings, once was an infant designated to be a “Face of Hope” by virtue of her birth on September 11, 2001. She was one of the children born on 9/11, reports Tucson blogger David Abie Morales. She is featured in the book by Christine Pisera Naman, entitled Faces of Hope, Babies Born on 9/11, dedicated to all the mother who gave birth and to their babies born on the day the World Trade Towers in New York City were taken down in an act of terrorism.
Ironically, today her life ended in violence, as she fell under the attack of a gunman at a political function at a supermarket.
A neighbor was going to the Giffords event today, the Arizona Republic reports, and invited Christina along simply because she thought she would enjoy it, according to Christina’s uncle, Greg Segalini. Christina was newly elected to the student council at her school.
The event, an opportunity for constituents to meet Giffords and discuss any concerns they had related to the federal government, was an outdoor family friendly event.
A talented girl, Christina Green participated in many activities, ranging from ballet to baseball.

I can’t comprehend how anyone could kill this innocent baby. My heartfelt prayers go out to the parents and family of this angel. May God give them the strength to get through this senseless loss.

It just boggles the mind that someone could do this, not only to this child, but to Congresswoman Giffords and all of the others.
The nutcase claimed that he wanted tighter border security, but Representative Giffords was one of the strongest voices condemning President Obama's slow and weak response in sending troops to guard the border this past year, plus she went against her Democratic Party when it opposed Arizona's new immigration laws.
In the Real American Society, an armed citizen would have kept this dangerous fool's toll to a minimum. Likely, his screwball ass would have been shot for some other transgression, to the benefit of everyone.
May she rest in peace and forgive us the sin of not being prepared to defend her.
This bastard is gonna split hell wide open with his arrival!

I haven’t posted in over 7 years until today. How I wish I could have taken that bullet.
I also don’t post much these days. This horror has required me to say something which is obvious. This murderer couldn’t know he would kill this particular angel yet he set sights on the judge who was a fine man and the congresswoman who also was for strong borders. This psycho was steeped in marx and das kapital. They want total anarchy. He knew the dems would try to eat the republicans afterwards,furthering the decline.
Just read on ESPN that she was the granddaughter of former major league manager Dallas Green.
