What is the current population of the U.S.?
340 million or around there, Right?
So if everyone kicked in an additional
$40 bucks we could bring it down to 0 in no time.
I’d be willing if everyone else would.
0 deficit for $ 40 dollars, not bad.
But EVERYONE would HAVE to pay.

Darn it. I was just going to make that offer myself, but I had to look in my couch for the money first. LOL

don’t understand your math
if you take $28000 debt per person ,each would have to put in $40/day for 700 days
what’s the significance of that?
To: indylindy
lol..You have it good, as it is now, I was going to have to break open the kids piggy bank, to pay my share too.:)

And to think there was a time when the debt was 52 cents.

Hmmm.
Seem to have gotten my billions and trillions mixed
up.
Easy to do, happens to Congress all the time.

i believe you math is off by a factor of 1000. each of the 340 million owes $41,000 - not $40.

I think you meant $40,000 each. I guess I’ll have to kick in for my kids and my wife, so “our” bill is only $240,000. Not sure I can swing that one.
To: DanielLongo
Let’s not tell obama what comes after “trillion”.
