While I enjoy a good conspiracy theory, I’m leaning toward the fireworks scaring the birds and some desease affecting the fish.

Methane substrate release?
It would explain the simultaneous sub-surface and airborne die-off.

Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

I used to hunt that area every year in the 90’s and don’t ever recall hearing about that happening to ducks & geese.

I said yesterday that it was something the birds ate. Did the birds eat the sick and dying fish?

If a weapon could be fine tuned to knock out one group - of fish or birds or people - and not harm anything else - isn’t that like an ‘ultimate’ weapon?

I was thinking I had read a book of his titled “The Book of Lists” when I was 15 or 16 years old. The library share got it for me from Provo I think. When I requested “The Book of the Damned” I was suddenly restricted. As it turns out it must have been”lo” that I had on loan from this perusal. It is probably a good thing I did not get to read more of his stuff at that tender age.
Thanks for the link.

It could be a sign. Somewhere in Arkansas a future US President has been born.

“Bill and Hillary went for a swim.”
And it only affected the drumm fish? Is that possible? I would have thought it would have killed all varieties.

“And it only affected the drumm fish?”
Oh, I thought it said “dumb fish”.
