Well, let me say that this has been one of the most if not the most happeist of times for us here in the conservative movement.

Not only were we able to take back the U.S. House but we also were able to take some seat from the Dems in the U.S. Senate.

And here in Oklahoma we made history. Not only does the G.O.P. have control of both houses of the state legislature, but we also have a female Govenor for the first time in our state's history. She has done an excellent job of representating the OKC Metro in U.S. House and is now about to take on the task of running this great state taking the reins from Brad Henry.

Of course the job of watching the activities in the Oklahoma Legislature as well as other state legislatures and the U.S. Congress requires places where people can report, analyze and comment on those things and that's where FR comes in.

FR is an exculsive place for grassroots conservatism. Where conservatives are able to address issues of public importance without having to deal with Obamanoids, Clintonoids or other people from the left.

It is also a place where you can hang out with friends at places like the Freeper Canteen or the Foxhole or other regular threads.

Of course websites cost money to run and that is where you and I come in. We hope everyone will make a donation of any kind to kee FR running but if for some reason you can't donate then come stop by this thread and BTTT.

Together, we can keep this place going through this upcoming U.S. Congress so that they will know that we are watching them very closely.

Happy New Year and regards...

E.G.C.

Oh, blargh. I don’t want to think about the 2012 elections at all.

In for $25 in honor of President Reagan’s centennial year, and doesn’t the dear man look fine for his age? (By Snail Post on Monday.)
