Although Hawaii's newly elected Democrat governor, Neil Abercrombie, has recently given a flurry of high-profile media interviews condemning "birthers" who question Barack Obama's constitutional eligibility to occupy the Oval Office, suddenly he is declining to answer a few hard questions.

I do find it interesting that George Washington had a copy of Law of Nations in his personal library. About a year or so back, New York Library (IIRC) reported that GW had checked out a copy of de Vattel and never returned it. The late fines would have been something like $300K. His “estate” found the book in his library. I can’t remember if they replaced or returned the book.

I remember distinctly reading that GW Bush signed an executive order in the last few days of this term (literally the last weekend) which gave him the authority to check the background of the incoming president.

As I understand it, they worked furiously through the weekend, going through passport records, and anything that they could think of. I have not heard exactly where these documents ended up, but I would be quite willing to bet that, if the circumstances made it necessary, these record would be released.

But I have seen no conservative organization that is coordinating all the things that must happen to defeat Marxism.

I agree. Yes, I am encouraged to see the Tea Parties. It is a very needed movement with short term and achievable goals but narrow in scope.

What's needed are both immediate and long term **comprehensive** strategies to defeat Marxism. Just as the Marxists have corrupted every cultural institution ( churches, education, arts, the media, philanthropy, courts, ), conservatives must find a way to take these institutions back or build news that are strong enough to crush those that are rotten to the core.

The left achieves its 15 minutes of fame by being better organized than its opposition. This is what enables it to take advantage of all crisises—real, created and imagined—to advance its agenda. To the left everything—even the weather—is political. Other than Palin, I see no other conservative—much less Pubbie RINO—that understands that fact.

Very few of our so-called conservative yappers seem to understand this either. I seriously doubt the courage and commitment of our so-called conservative media. Isn't it evident by the way they have utterly avoided certain issues and refuse to discuss them and hang up on their callers who bring up these topics?

Even Moochell has stated in public that he was a Kenyan.

Michelle: "When we took our trip to Africa and visited his home country in Kenya . . ." At about the 43 mark. Link

OK, but the founding fathers clearly understood and were following the precedent of English common law.

Speaking specifically with regard to the citizenship requirement in the Constitution, James Madison wrote:

It is an established maxim that birth is a criterion of allegiance. Birth however derives its force sometimes from place and sometimes from parentage, but in general place is the most certain criterion; it is what applies in the United States.

I don't think that happened.

Remember the hell that was raised when State Dept. went through Clinton's records?

Bush left office packing his bags the last weekend.

Who knows what it means that GW read de Vattel. I have a copy of Rules for Radicals in my library, but that doesn’t mean I subscribe to its principles.

That’s simply amazing. Thanks for the response. They are using the 14th amendment to solidify Obama as a nbc.

I suspicion that the commie ‘misdirection’ motif has led us to take the eye off the bail - the real power broker.

San Fran Nan is the one who short circuited the vetting of the ‘’bummer for eligibility.

She has reigned like a SUPREME power, running roughshod over everyone.

When she lost the gavel in the election, no one, including dems, wanted her back in the cat birds seat of their party. But, a couple of closed doors sessions held by her highnass with fellow dems after one with the high poobar union bosses - and presto! She's still their leader - AND the ‘bummer quickly reversed course on a big issue (I forget what it was) at her insistance-

I suspicion she has, for decades, quietly gathered dirt on everyone, tucked it all away and brings it out whenever needed.

In the case of hitlery, there's certainly been enough serious dirt to derail any opposition. (Are we truly to believe that, suddenly, hitlery has no longer any ambition to rule as POTUS? that she's suddenly just dropped what she's clawed for all her life - unless there was a skeleton rattled in front of her?)

Keep an eye the power ball. BUT, she can be brought down too - if there arises someone with the real 'balls' - those documents she signed to affect wavers in the states for bummer to run - HER SIGNATURE is on those - and they are illegal and she knew/knows it.

Those who want to destroy the constitution favor a president who is compromised by his allegiance by citizenship. I have seen them express joy in this fact.

Not surprised by this at all, since Nicholas Kristof in The New York Times (March 6, 2007) celebrated "Obama, Man of the World" with his foreign ties and influences.

He was hoping the issue would simply die and go away, but the American People have refused to allow that to happen.

He knows that he has to do something quick if he's going to run as some states are passing new laws to strenghten and demand proof of eligibility to be on the ballot in that state.

How many states - rather, how FEW states would that take to make it impossible to win? I suspicion that even san fran nan won't dare sign illegal affidavits wavering the vetting in the states again. She knows people are watching - FINALLY.
