Off and on for the past week or so, when I click on an email in my Yahoo account to open it up, another email of mine opens up (not the one I clicked on!) If I go back and try again to open the same email the same wrong email is opened!
The only thing which seems to "fix" it (for lack of a better word) is to log out and log back in. But that is not truly a fix.
This is a major bug and I am curious who else is experiencing it? I am also concerned that this may go beyond simply opening another email of mine to where I may get access to someone else's email (or vice versa).
The problem with Internet Explorer and Yahoo Mail is not officially documented.
I’m a computer tech by trade. I found the fix by trial and error.
I was having the same problem with my Yahoo Mail account. When I switched to FireFox, the IE problem went away.
Other browsers may work, too.
Glad to see I am not the only one experiencing this. I hate to trade out the browser and work around a bug, so I will probably transition to gmail.
The very fact that the wrong email can be opened now leads me to question whether other people could open mine.
Am amazed that this issue does not get more press.
