There is the curse, however, and we see it manifest in modern feminism. “Your desire will be for your husband [your husband’s role, that is], and he will rule over you.”
IMO, that should read, "Your desire will be for your husband's dominion over you" period.
Forget the "...and he will rule over you" part.
There are only 3 Hebrew words there. Desire, Husband, Dominion. If Eve wasn't obedient to Adam before they fell, how in the world is a woman ever going to be obedient to her husband after the fall?
