My little Shih Tzu named "Buddy" died tonight. He read the paper with me and enjoyed watching wheel of fortune and Jeopardy...I will miss him..... RIP Buddy...
woof.
You have my deepest condolences. Please know Buddy is now in the care of his Creator; where he is warm, safe and loved. I firmly believe Buddy will be waiting for you when you leave this life. I know words are of small comfort but know your FRiends here understand your grief, pain and loss. You will be in my prayers.
So sad. Keep your friends’ memory alive, and he will always be with you.
They know they've been rescued and make you a Saint for that.
I know because I have been "rescued" by such a dog. You do know what I mean. Right? May the Master of Life accept "buddy's" spirit.
If the lion will lie down with the lamb, maybe the cat will lie down with the dog.
Actually it happens already. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-hT018rpBs
Many of us here on FR have experienced this and we understand completely. It is devastating.
You gave him a good life, and that is a consolation that will help in time.
Yes...Buddy was so thankfull for anything.....he wagged his tail happily when you would fill his dogbowl with food....He waS Happy with the bare essentials.......I will miss you BUDDY! I hope you are pain free and happy...Love You...
I know how you feel, losing your pet on this date. When I was in High School, I lost my cat..my dad had to make rounds at the hospital and when he came home, he used the garage door opener and the cat jumped on to the door as it was going down and she was hanged...Everyone felt awful...Christmas Day was ruined that year..you have my sympathy.
Thank You FR friends....For your condolences......I am thankfull Buddy didn’t suffer...he wen’t peacefully as he laid down....Thank you for you sympathies.......
My sympathy for you.
I have lost two pets on Christmas day, those must be some odds, huh?
Muschi was an adopted yellow tabby kitty with the sweetest face you’ve ever seen. I had to lie to my children, I knew it would ruin their day. Took her to the vet, he had to put her down, she had advanced lung cancer. Told the children that she was very sick, but he would try to heal her. Waited two days and told them that he’d called and said she had passed away.
Then a few years later, my ferret, Patches, started moaning and whining (every hear a ferret whine?) in the night, I finally called the vet about 0500. After examining my sweetie, the vet said he had some autoimmune thing, was in great pain, and there was nothing he could do. I carried his limp body home crying the whole way so we could bury him under my lilac bushes.
I still get tears thinking about them. You are not alone and, as the vet told me, you must remember the joy you had together. Hugs.
Oh, I’m so sorry. Bless you.
My Shi tzu, Daisy, and I are sorry for your loss.
I can’t imagine the sadness you feel right now.
*pat pat pat*
Here’s a biscuit and a belly skritch....:)
So sorry to hear of your great loss. Pets are family members and it is not easy to deal with losing one.
Prayers to you on your loss. It is definitely tough to lose a friend (which he was) during the holidays especially but anytime is difficult.
I’m sorry for your loss, and on this day of all days!
I’m so very sorry for your loss. God be with you and comfort you.
Please accept my sympathies for the loss of your special companion. May our Heavenly Father bless you with comfort.
Read your Bible and discover how to treat people.
You have that right!! I am a very old ancient but I could not have it said it any better!!
