Hawaii’s Governor Takes On ‘Birthers’ By SHERYL GAY STOLBERG
HONOLULU — Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie, who befriended President Obama’s parents when they were university students here, has been in office for less than three weeks. But he is so incensed over the “birthers” — conspiracy theorists who assert Mr. Obama was born in Kenya and challenge his right to be president — that he is already seeking ways to change Hawaiian law or regulation to allow him to release additional proof that the president was born in a hospital here in 1961.
“It’s an insult to his mother and to his father, and I knew his mother and father — they were my friends, and I have an emotional interest in that,” Gov. Abercrombie said in a telephone interview late Thursday night. “It’s an emotional insult, it is disrespectful to the president, it is disrespectful to the office.”
Mr. Abercrombie, who represented Honolulu in Congress until leaving Washington to run for governor, said he has initiated conversations with his attorney general and his health secretary about how he can make public more explicit documentation of Mr. Obama’s birth on Aug. 4, 1961, at Kapi’olani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital in Honolulu. He said he has done so of his own accord, without any request from the president or the White House, which declined to comment.
“He’s a big boy, he can take sticks and stones, but there’s no reason on Earth to have the memory of his parents insulted by people who’s motivation is solely political,” Mr. Abercrombie said. “Let’s put this particular canard to rest.”

Thanks Fred. The University response does match the years claimed by Sr. in the letter to Mboya. I can’t imagine how anyone can cram that much into 3 years though and get the academic honors and still have time for an active social life as he seems to have had from the accounts of Abercrombie and the other friends. Being so successful in his studies and such a total failure in every other realm of life outside of the campus life was such a tragedy! By the way hope you had a very happy Christmas way down under!

I have not seen sufficient evidence to support or refute an Obama birth in HI or in Kenya to my satisfaction.
Based on the HI law in 1961 and subsequent modifications it appears that Obama’s 2007 COLB could be an authentic printout of what was in the HI database at the time. I don't have to rely on a conspiracy theory involving the State of HI to get to the COLB. If Obama's grandparents filed a false claim of a HI birth for Obama, that would require no consiracy by the State of HI.
IIRC the universities of HI and WA will send anyone a copy of the transcripts for deceased persons and numerous people have sent for and received SADO’s transcripts from both universities including WND. Are all of those people in on a conspiracy to produce and distribute forged transcripts for SADO along with the registrar's office of the two universities?
It would seem that a conspiracy theory to forge printouts from university registrar's offices in both HI and WA is necessary to support your claims that SASO was not in WA, claims which you have not yet fleshed out unless I missed something.
Have you produced evidence of an Anna Obama who was not SADA which you have not yet shared. Those pictures of the Asian woman named Ann(a) sitting near BHO Sr. in HI don't quite make it for me.
You have stated as a fact that SADO was not the Anna Obama in WA. If you have shared the evidence to support your claim I have not seen it, but would be glad to evaluate it.
This is a hearsay comment reported by a reporter for which I have seen no independent substantiation. Instead I have seen lots of evidence from multiple sources refuting this one seven year statement in one story.
Reporters almost always screw up details in stories as we have seen time and time again in the stories on eligibility. Your mileage may vary!

Every time I post a comment that challenges ‘Dreams’ - which has no chronology btw, and never mentions either a period of residence in Seattle or attendance at the U of WA, OR Mercer Island High School...
you jump in and defend ‘Dreams From My Father’ and the various stories told by so-called classmates who apparently have a NEED to fill the gaps in the narative, many of whom contradict each other. I always post SOURCES - you say ‘I have seen lots of evidence from multiple sources’ - SO SHOW ME!

Any mention that SADO went to U of WA is missing from Dreams and undermines Dreams. Any claim that SADO was not the Anna Obama in WA would tend to support Dreams, which I reject.
...it's a frightening thought isn't it? Not only is paternity in doubt, but if the myth of 'Dreams' is built upon the blending of two women, now you don't know who the mother is, either...just where does Stanley Ann Dunham enter/exit and Anna Obama begin?

As my wife chose Christmas Eve to do a face-plant in the sidewalk (fortunately it was _after her solo_ playing the part of the Virgin Mary in the Christmas Cantata) I have spent most of the past 24 hours at the ER and hospital, so I will not be able to go back to the Obama Sr timeline at this time...

What kind of crap is that to believe that you take a newborn baby to social events, please give me a break. This is the most absurd statement that only a RAT could come up with, ROTLMAO???
...that’s where the story simply comes unstuck; we are expected to believe SAD had a baby on the 4th of August, women spent at least one week in hospital after giving birth in the sixties...that takes us to around the tenth or eleventh day of August, then they attend ‘social events’ according to Abercrombie, and by the 19th of August, she’s living in an apartment in Seattle, has enrolled at the U of WA and is attending classes...which didn’t start until September 25.
I would be skeptical that even SADO would showcasing a mulatto baby at social events, gosh???
