(CathNews) Santa will not be visiting students in St. Peter, Minnesota this year. Muslim immigrants got him cancelled. The MinnPost reported, via Pat Dollard:
Santa Claus, as portrayed by Dennis Jackson, wont be visiting students at the Head Start classes in St. Peter this year.
Jackson has made appearances the past four years at the classes for students who need help preparing for school, but this year officials said, No, no, no.
The reason: The classes have many immigrant children who dont celebrate Christmas, says the Mankato Free Press.
Santas a little frosted, the paper says.
It kind of burnt me up, he said.
The official explanation from Chris Marben, who coordinates regional Head Start programs through Mankato-based Minnesota Valley Action Council: We have Somali families in the program. Were respecting the wishes of families in the program.
She didnt say how many objections were made, but said more than one would be enough to cancel Santa
Jackson said hes played Santa with children from other cultures before and they were fully comfortable with him. He said its their parents who are being unreasonable.
Theyre not respecting the majority, he said. My feeling is (objecting parents) can take their kids out of class for half an hour and let the other kids enjoy it. They should sacrifice, not rule.
So these are Somalis. How many species of cockroaches are there?
Everytime I see that guy’s face or one like it I think its time for another crusade.
‘The State indoctrinating the students to disregard and disrespect the teachings of the parent’
The Nazi’s did the same thing, look what that got’em
Where’s “Bad Santa” when you need him.
Have similar issues, lol/. When I told the kids that when I 'get to 'that point'; they can put me on an 'ice float'; they only asked; 'how will we know?'.
minn. is going islamization.... next it will be ethnic cleansing

They should have tried that Sharia thing there instead of Oklahoma. They might have won.
It is indeed hard to imagine that ham could be controversial in Spain (which, despite everything, actually has one of the lowest percentages of Muslim immigrants in Europe).
What’s even worse, of course, is that the left-wing Spanish government is always on the side of the Muslims.
It matters if the powers that be make the claim that they can’t acknowledge Christmas cause the Muslims are offended.
The ones agitating for the muzzling of religious expression in the public square are the same ones demanding crowning of the gay agenda.
I don’t doubt that some objected to Santa Claus specifically but that is not a valid reason to stop having him visit the children. Any parent is free to tell their child “We don’t believe in Santa Claus, that is a man in costume pretending to be Santa. Don’t tell the other children cause it would spoil their fun.” I mean Head Start must have had a JW or Jewish child attend at some point.
Head Start should grow a set and say “We know seeing Santa makes the children very happy.” If you don’t want your child to see him then you need to make other arrangements for her on the day Santa will be here.” I guess they could set up a Santa Free Zone but even that to me is too much of a concession.
Look what’s happening in Minnesota.
When I first saw the title, I thought it was St. Paul because of the nearby congressman.
Santa is secular. He didn’t die for anyone’s sins.
During Cinco De Mayo festivities up in the White House, Bush told us, "Islam is a religion of peace."
Well that’s it! Santa is the last straw! I’m no longer going to celebrate Rama-Dama-Ding-Dong next time it comes around.
If it was up to me, I’d send the mooselimbs all back to their countries of origin and if any American converts, they will be sent to the mooselimb country of their choice. I’m sick and tired of this.
I agree with you, but if I lived in or near St. Peter, MN, I'd be going to a costume place, and buying a Santa costume, and I'd be out front of that school when students arrive and when school lets out. I'd be walking up and down in front of the school with a very loud "Ho, ho, ho!"
And if I could find a big black man to go with me, I'd put the money out for TWO costumes.
