"The more people try to take her out, she only becomes emboldened, strengthened, it makes her such a martyr," said Mrs Wallace, who has recently written a thriller called Eighteen Acres, drawn in part from her experiences on the bid for the White House of John McCain and Mrs Palin, his running mate.
"She has very obvious deficiencies that will reveal themselves as the nominating contest gets closer," she told The Daily Telegraph, adding: "Let her shoot her moose or whatever the heck she does on her [television] show, it will all work out."
...... "What's troubling is she has missed an opportunity to go beyond the platitudes and deepen her knowledge," said Mrs Wallace, who was formerly communications director in the George W Bush administration. "It's incredibly cynical to think you can win an election without having a thoughtful intellectual discussion with the country, thinking you can just scare people into voting for you."
Mrs Wallace's remarks follow similar reservations voiced by senior Republicans and figureheads of the Right including Barbara Bush, former First Lady, and Karl Rove, the leading strategist in the George W Bush administration.

Obviously you haven’t read Sowell’s “Intellectuals and Society”, and you must have just cursorily read my post.
There is nothing “dimbulb” about rejecting the “right and duty” of self proclaimed elitists to make our decisions for us.
You accept the left’s “framing” and argue based on their terms.

Everyone has flaws. We are all human. The whores (of both genders) who “tell all” for profit are despicable people. Anything for a buck and their 15 minutes of fame... politicians need to choose their friends wisely...

Skunks do have streaks, don’t they??
BWA HA HAHAHAH!!!
I didn't know this about this bland, moonface.
Well, we know how THAT went, don't we, in the Bush era of communication? Never defending his admin, never speaking up for conservatives, kissing Vicente Fox's arse?
The perfect picture substitute for a thousand words. Wallace is being given a lot of airtime on FOX for some reason and of all people to talk about flaws or intellectual depth she has to be the most unqualified. I dislike Nicole Wallace as much as I have come to loath Karl Rove and the rest of the anti Palin posse who work the media continuously to drive her negatives up and positives down. Sara Palin’s enemies are obviously paid political operatives who embody everything negative they have to say about her. The plan seems to be to keep it up so that the cumulative effect will leave enough stench to bring Palin down. What Palin foes fail to realize is that her flawed supporters can relate to her in her flawed condition. We find her flawdess more honest than the manufactured persona of the groomed elitist party candidates foisted on us by vested interests in control of the electoral process.
There is a new political party for people with “no flaws”, it’s called the “No Lables” Party.
Proving Rush right again when he says, conservatives are going to take our party back to its roots, and it will be the RINOS who will form any third party, not us.
Whoever chose that book cover should be shot. It looks like she has devil horns from the A and the I.
Nicolle Wallace was specifically responsible for the disastrous Katie Couric Interview. She is also a pro-abortion pro homosexual rights Rhino. McCain and Palin were not defeated by Obama as much as they were defeated from the inside and Ms Wallace in particular was one of the ring leaders along with Scmidt and McKinnon before he had a tantrum and left because the McCain campaign was going to be mean to Obama. Nicolle Wallace is nothing. She shows up far too often on Fox News and I’ve even heard Rush going on about this bitch because she was kissing his butt. Sometimes its hard to trust anyone because some of our vanguards are so handicapped by their lifestyles surrounded by leftist friends and the desire to be liked by the wrong people.
Nicole Wallace should be bkack-marked by anyone even remotely considering themselves Republican of Conservative.
She is a traitor to her own employer.
Nothing like having a mole inside your organization.
Nicolle Wallace is a regular on MSDNC now. That should tell you all you need to know.

...of the right...????
What isn’t said is that Sarah was likely the first to know about Wallace’s intentions and was a big enough person not to rat her out, when everyone who was wondering at the time who the ‘sources within the campaign’ were. McCain should have fired her and the other guy - forget his name.

Since I’ve been a 3-hours daily Rush listener since 1990, I had never heard any such thing. I decided to check for myself. I’m a 24/7 member with access to Rush’s program archives, and could only find him making negative comments about her.
This is the latest:
“...Well, this is Nicolle Wallace, but she’s articulating a view that many people hold, that the more Sarah Palin there is, the worse it gets for her, which it kinda appears to be just the opposite to me. The more Sarah Palin there is the better for her. ...”

RUSH: I mentioned to you that I recently had dinner, more than once, with some Republicans, I would call them ruling class type Republicans, who asked me if I thought Sarah Palin was presidential material. And I’ve adapted a new strategy here, “Yeah, no, of course not,” if that’s what they think I disagree with them, because they’re not gonna hear what I say anyway. I mean their point is to be heard. So they were a little bit surprised that I agreed, and even though I didn’t think they would be, they were, and I said, “Oh, yeah, give me four more years of Obama any day over Sarah Palin. To me there’s no question. Is there to you?” They kind of cock their heads and look at me and start nodding but it’s clear they — I even had an opportunity to put it into practice last night. It worked again. You can always tell the people who laugh at it get it. The people who don’t, “Wait a minute, what am I missing? I know he’s saying something here.” This is how I pointed it out yesterday on this program.
RUSH ARCHIVE: I have a new tactic. You people might want to try this. Whenever I go to dinner with Republicans — which, when I go to dinner, it generally is with Republicans — and invariably the subject of Sarah Palin comes up, and invariably with Republicans — not conservatives, Republicans — “You know, I like her, I really do. In fact, I met her the other day. I just don’t think she’s presidential, do you?” It used to be I’d get into an argument with them. But I figured it doesn’t make any sense ‘cause they’re really not even gonna hear what I say. They already have their minds made up. So I said, “You know, I totally agree with you. I mean, my gosh, give me Obama any day.” And they kinda stop, and they look at me, they try to process what I just said. At first, “Ah, there’s old Rush making a joke,” and then they cock their heads and say, “What did you say?” I said, “Oh, I totally agree with you. Sarah Palin? There’s no way, there’s simply no way. Give me Obama. Give me four more years of Obama any day.” And some of them, it registers immediately, and others are still trying to figure it out.
RUSH: So it takes us to Morning Joe today, Joe Scarborough and his show on PMSNBC, Andrew Ross Sorkin, a New York Times reporter, and Nicolle Wallace were the guests, and during a discussion about Palin possibly running for president, Sorkin said, “Doesn’t it become harder the more runway room you give her now? I mean, if the plan is to cut her off at the legs later, why let her go now?” By the way, her television show, I haven’t seen it, but people who are watching it tell me how much they like it, on The Learning Channel. Rave reviews, great ratings, people tell me they really like the show and the ratings continue to increase for this thing, which surprises people.
So this has the left discombobulated, because everywhere they look her popularity is on display, everywhere they look. None of this was supposed to happen. She was supposed to be finished by now. They were supposed to have killed her off and they were supposed to have succeeded in getting a whole bunch of ruling class Republicans to kill her off. But it hasn’t happened. And that’s what this Sorkin guy is saying, “Well, doesn’t it become harder the more runway room you give her?” Now, he’s talking to Nicolle Wallace, who is a Republican, “Doesn’t it become harder to cut her off at the legs the longer you let her go? I mean, if the plan is to cut her off at the legs later, why not do it now? Why wait?” ‘Cause the longer she’s out there and gaining popularity, the tougher it’s gonna be to get rid of her. And here’s what Nicolle Wallace said.
WALLACE: No one’s gonna cut her off at the legs. Only Sarah Palin can beat Sarah Palin. And let me tell you why no one will take her on. Her defenders and supporters, the likes of Rush Limbaugh and people I admire, are so powerful on the right that nobody wants to anger any of those people, nobody wants to end up in the crosshairs, and nobody wants to look like they are unwilling to let her do her thing. I don’t think people should be, you know, uptight and angsting about Sarah Palin. I think she’ll reveal herself, and people will love her or hate her. I really believe that if it looked like she were about to become the nominee, or, heaven forbid, the leader of the free world, a whole lot of people would stand up and say a whole lot of things.
RUSH: So apparently the roll of the dice is, eh, at some point everybody’s gonna see what a disaster she would be, and we’ll be okay. At some point this is gonna happen. Well, this is Nicolle Wallace, but she’s articulating a view that many people hold, that the more Sarah Palin there is, the worse it gets for her, which it kinda appears to be just the opposite to me. The more Sarah Palin there is the better for her. She’s got her daughter out there on Dancing with the Stars, either Bristol herself or Sarah’s voters kept her on that show long beyond what she should have been. Her television show’s going through the roof on The Learning Channel, but apparently the prevailing opinion is just don’t worry about it, you Democrats, don’t sweat it. The longer she’s out there and the more it looks like she might get the nomination, well, then a whole lot of people are gonna say to heck with Rush Limbaugh and whoever, they’re gonna stand up and they’re gonna say a whole lot of things about her, to which I’m just gonna say what I’ve been saying,
“Yeah, yeah, it looks like she’s gonna get the nomination, we gotta stop that, give me four more years of Obama.”
And I want to see what their reaction to that is.
“Sarah Palin or four more years of Obama? No question. Four more years of Obama, right?” Make ‘em say it.
