The Army lieutenant colonel who refused to deploy to Afghanistan because he won't accept orders from President Obama, whom he considers unqualified to be commander in chief, has pleaded guilty to one charge against him.
Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin pleaded guilty Tuesday to not reporting to Fort Campbell, Ky., for his required deployment to Afghanistan, NBC News reported.
Lakin, a doctor and 17-year soldier, believes Obama wasn't born in the United States, and therefore does not meet the constitutional requirements to be president.

If all that’s true, why doesn’t barry just come up with the long from birth certificate and shut everyone up, and quit throwin’ money @ lawyers? It’s real simple. Thanks for the diatribe, but you didn’t settle anything. In fact, are you Ed Shultz on break?
You probably believe the idea that he's spending hundreds of thousands on lawyers for this, so your view is understandable. Try tracking down that claim and you'll find that it's not true. People tried pretending that his legal bills for the election were about the birth certificate.
And if the government tried snooping where I believed they didn't have a place, and I had an embarrassing fact on my birth certificate, I'd fight on principle.
That explanation makes more sense than one tired claim after another, each getting shot down.

At this point, I think it’s more likely that some of his political people noticed the “Birther” movement when it was a tiny fringe, and they came up with a “Don’t Throw Me In The Briar Patch” strategy of acting like they were hiding something so that the Birthers would get more publicity (and thus more effectively embarrass Obama’s opponents).
The difference is that the other soldiers got deployment order to the war zone and obeyed them, but Lakin got a deployment order to the war zone and tried a cockamamie barrack-lawyer argument to evade them.
I think that's also a strong possibility.
How many times has Lakin deployed to the AOR? I think I read somewhere that it was once or twice. Correct me if I'm wrong but if true, I don't think he was trying to evade deploying.
Again, why doesn’t he just come up with the Long Form Birth Cerificate, like aspiring little leaguers, and distinguish this issue with legs? Even McCain gave a plausible explanation about his Panamanian Birth, when questioned during the campaign. Why didn’t McCain question obama’s birth after facing similar charges? If there’s something really embarrassing on obama’s Birth Certificate, why shouldn’t we know? Is there something emabarrassing on yours? You seem really on edge. Perhaps you could share the information you tracked down on Barry, or are we left to wonder?
Did he ever get a lawyer license to start with?
Are you talking about the Soetero/Obama switch? Since MamaBama claimed both as husbands at different times, it might be hard to nail him down, even if we ever get the details.
I doubt we'll ever will know anything. National Security isn't buried as deep as this character's history. l
