Troops who can't accept the idea of overturning the ban on gays in the military should consider leaving the service, says a senior aide to Gen. David Petraeus.
Command Sergeant Major Marvin Hill tells TV One's "Washington Watch" that he believes "the troops are ready" for the repeal of the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy.
"If there are people who cannot deal with the change, then they're going to have to do what's best for their troops and best for the organization and best for the military service and exit the military service, so that we can move forward -- if that's the way that we have to go," Hill says in an interview with Roland Martin, scheduled to air Sunday.
Hill says it will be up to military brass to "set the tone" for the rank-and-file in accepting gay service members.
"We know that if there is a change, that that change will have to be led, and it's going to have to be led by senior leaders such as myself and -- and others across the battlefield," Hill says.

This opens the door to bigger problems. The military should not be a social experiment. Order will go into chaos. This is another way to bring down the defense. They had better hire more proctologists

Years ago while in infantry basic training I had the experience with serving as a trainee with at least one gay trainee. He enjoyed walking down the baracks naked, towel over shoulder, for display. Soldier he was not as demonstrated several times in the field. My guess is he would have been the ‘bride’ of a gay couple. Our platoon sgt. very delicately tuned us away from the guy. I don’t know what happened to him after basic training.
You’re right. Political indoctrination is next. They need to purge the Christians too because when it comes time to fire on Americans, they need a military with no moral compass other than their “leadership” and a hatred of all that is normal.

The repeal of DADT will give new meaning to the term “militant gays”... and the Armed Forces will be chock full of ‘em.
There won’t be any homos signing up for the Marines, they will sign up as pencil pushers in other branches, with access to classified info like the homo Manning wiki criminal.
Does this mean that if you do not want to serve with homosexuals, you will not have to serve? With honors?

There’s no right to join the military.
If they let faggots join, why should they be allowed to discriminate on age? People 40 plus in age should be allowed to join the Army. I’m sure there are some 50 something Freepers that could out-shoot, out-command, and out-run most of the grunts in the Armed Forces.

As a side note, Rusty Humpries said that he met Gen. Petraeus and said he’s as liberal as Colin Powell.
