Bernie Sanders is a real throwback to those days, and I've got to say that although I agree with the guy about absolutely nothing, I respect the fact that he has the courage of his convictions and doesn't pretend to be anything but what he is: a socialist.
Years ago, maybe 70s or 80s, I’d go up there with my Dad and we’d get eggs from a place on the honor system—take eggs, leave money. Later a camera was put in though, IIRC. Also
an old rocker “for sale” right out there on sidewalk in front of house where anyone could take it. Maybe people gone back to the old, simpler days, who knows.

Amazing that liberals don’t connect the dots—punishing the hardest working capitalistic people (is he really saying that rich people should have limits on what they can and cannot do or buy?!) in this country ALSO PUNISHES THE LITTLE PEOPLE, THE MIDDLE CLASS, THOSE LIVING IN POVERTY.
