Personally I would like to see them leave and destroy some place else. Preferably on some isolated island in Antarctica where they are welcome to control their complete environment and not need to worry about global warming.

One of my fantasies was to see alien spacecraft hook a tow chain to Cape Cod; and use it to tow New England out to the North Atlantic, where it could drift about until the end of time without bringing any further harm to the United States. Think about it...doesn't Barney Frank (D - North Atlantic) have a nice ring to it?
