AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

Did you see Rush’s face on the Dittocam after the guy described the giant vacuum cleaner? LOL!

It’s socialism and the sense of entitlement it creates.

Thank you.

Our students really got shafted between the SEC Champ game being the weekend before finals, and now the NCG being the first day of classes. Last year, at least Alabama delayed the start of classes for an entire week.

Did not realize the time of the game. I had thought it was going to be 7pm our time. That would be 6pm instead for here.

As someone who lives in Hal Rogers’ district and is intimately familar with his legislative style, I object to the way Rush is treating him, merely because Rush’s buddy, Kingston, didn’t get the spot. I like Kingston, and I’m sure Rush does too, since he’s been a pretty solid conservative since his freshman years in 1994.

However, Rogers, too, is a pretty solid conservative, and while I know this isn’t a popular thought, but without some of that “pork” that Hal’s being denigrated for, my district would get nothing, from roads, to the drug task force that has helped shut down untold numbers of meth labs, as well as broken up a lot of drug trafficking rings.

Also, Hal’s job, as a representative, it to advocate on behalf of his district, and he does just that. My district could ask for no clearer, stronger, louder, and more conservative voice than Hal Rogers. He’s not perfect; and there are some projects that the federal government shouldn’t be subsidizing that he’s fought for; but there are very few people, who serve in Congress that can say they have NEVER gotten an earmark or pork; which are two different things, but are never distinguished.

I wish Rush wouldn’t denigrate Hal Rogers, just because Kingston didn’t get the spot; and I wish a lot more people would educate themselves on Hal’s accomplishments before spouting off something the MSM labeled him, btw.

My bad, just double checked. It starts at 8:30 EST so 5:30 pm in Phoenix.

Still, it’s too late to fly him home for classes the next day.

Buck ran a pretty terrible campaign. I saw some of his ads and just shook my head.

Rush is right. That’s why I am pulling for Palin in 2012. I don’t think the others have the guts to stand up to the inevitable protests.

I just went and checked our scrapbook from that trip. We were tagging along with Mr. del at the time since he had some business in NH at the time. We went to VT for two days before his meeting and up into Maine for several days afterwards.

On the first day, we had the best time visiting the farm and farm museum there. It does not look like we spent much time in the town. I do remember lots of roundabouts and strange traffic patterns. Since we were staying in Queechee and headed east, we spent the next day in Hanover, NH at Dartmouth. I am sure that those Ivy Leaguers overflow over into Vermont too. That may explain the quaintness instead of the hippy street people seen in the west.

It’s truly frightening.
The Dems have instilled an entitlement mindset in this country that is ticking away.

Oh boy did I have the times backwards! So that will be 7:30pm central.

Have to run. She is on her way and I have been warned that she will be hungry when she gets here! She misses my cooking down there. :-)

Right, even conservatives have a certain sense of entitlement. We have a window of opportunity to change this scenario over the next few years. We better not blow it. Unfortunately, most of those in DC now aren’t going to be much help.

So, where is the number for Mitch McConnell and John Boehner? We need to get the message out that any Republican who votes for this pork laden tax bill will primaried in the next election.

So am I. It's sickening that Colorado has become a democrat state when the rest of the country has rejected the dems. Of our 7 congressional districts, 5 are now blue. I live in one of the red ones, fortunately. My congressman, Doug Lamborn, is a true conservative.
