That would be Woodstock, Vermont...a village that would make Berkeley look like Cobb County, Georgia. Even though Route 4 is a main thoroughfare across central Vermont, it is essentially illegal to drive an 18-wheeler thru Woodstock. Detour, or else...
Everyone we know is going...except us. We cannot decided that at this time for several reasons. If youngdel or any of our family goes, it will be a last minute decision. As of today, we are considering spending the evening in Auburn instead.
We have to stay closer to home on that date because that will be a critical time in my brother's cancer treatment. We asked young del to withdraw from the lottery for this reason. From what I understand, there has been no decision on delaying the first day of classes as of yet.
Young del should be home in a couple of hours. It will be nice to have her home for a month. Yet at their age, their social life takes precedent over the old folks.
And now they want to overhaul and simplify the U.S. tax code. The Social Security tinkering should have been a big clue to trash this current legislation. Where are any Conservative/Republican Economist to counter all this? Does Boehner have any economist he consults? McConnell? McCain(/sarc)?
If Woodstock is near Queechee, then I have been there. That town was so quaint, hard to believe it would be more liberal than Berkeley.

As for classes, we are sending him down on Friday to get organized then flying him out Sunday from Atlanta. I CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S ON A MONDAY AT 8PM WEST COAST TIME! Doesn’t the BCS know classes start then? Missing first two days of classes is horrible.

Sorry. Very pretty at 'Holiday Time', as well; but easily the most liberal town in the state...Sanders is too conservative for most of them, but they vote for him anyway. On the bright side; they aren't so 'green' that they wanted to put a giant dome over the whole town; like Winooski considered years ago...
