Sorry. Very pretty at 'Holiday Time', as well; but easily the most liberal town in the state...Sanders is too conservative for most of them, but they vote for him anyway. On the bright side; they aren't so 'green' that they wanted to put a giant dome over the whole town; like Winooski considered years ago...
I just went and checked our scrapbook from that trip. We were tagging along with Mr. del at the time since he had some business in NH at the time. We went to VT for two days before his meeting and up into Maine for several days afterwards.
On the first day, we had the best time visiting the farm and farm museum there. It does not look like we spent much time in the town. I do remember lots of roundabouts and strange traffic patterns. Since we were staying in Queechee and headed east, we spent the next day in Hanover, NH at Dartmouth. I am sure that those Ivy Leaguers overflow over into Vermont too. That may explain the quaintness instead of the hippy street people seen in the west.
