THIS IS TREASON.He's not an American; he's Australian, so unless one of his releases undermines Australia, he can't be tried for Treason. However, he can be treated as an enemy combatant by the US.
Up until now, I have had mixed feelings about the latest Wikileaks and Assange. This is a game-changer. It is a direct attack on the US. Now I think he deserves whatever he gets!

Personally, I’d skip the first two steps and go straight to the third. Assange HAS to know every day he wakes may be his last.

“THIS IS TREASON.”
Technically, no. But I get your point.

The traitor (homosexual) in the military who pilfered much of the material indeed needs to be tried for treason.
This foreign stooge needs to be prosecuted for espionage.

Why bother wasting everyone’s time and money with arrest and prosecute. Just go around the 2 first phases and jump to the third. I will buy the bullet to take out this piece of crap. I also have a great length of rope for that traitor private first class who is in custody. Quick, simple and with the snap at the end of the rope. No more problems.
We can even reuse the rope for the traitors in Congress and the Black House.

THIS IS TREASON. If he was a citizen of the U.S. it would be. But since he's not we have to get him on something else.
Which I'm sure Zer0 will be right on it.

He’s an enemy combatant, not a traitor (he’s not a US citizen so he can’t be a ‘traitor’ to the USA, although maybe to Australia).
He is, however, a clear and present danger to countless Americans and our interests worldwide.

Can’t be treason. He’s not American. However, it could be considered a kind of terrorism.
