Alec Baldwin: WikiLeaks Assange Should be Tried Only if Cheney is for Plame Leak By Noel Sheppard Created 12/04/2010 - 3:36pm

I really love when I see a blog published at the Huffington Post by Alec Baldwin for I know it's going to be some truly delicious left-wing insanity guaranteed to put a huge smile on my face.

On Saturday, the idiot actor from Long Island, New York, didn't disappoint:

I hope they catch that WikiLeaks guy. I hope they catch him and prosecute him for all its worth. I hope they, legally speaking, throttle this guy within an inch of his life. [...]

Only one condition. You hold formal hearings on the Valerie Plame scandal. And you put that Low-Down-Gutless-Excuse-For-A-Vice-President Dick Cheney and that crypto-facist maniac Richard Armitage on trial. Same as Julian Assange.

Cheney and Armitage. Assange goes on trial, they go on trial.

It's astonishing that anyone with even a room temperature intelligence quotient can make a comparison between all the top secret information released by Julian Assange and the Valerie Plame affair.

Or is this an indication there's a severe winter storm hitting Hollywood and the thermostat in the Baldwin residence is broken?

Well...now we know who the front-runner is for the lead role in "The Keith Olbermann Story".....

That kinda has a direct-to-video ring to it,doesn't it?

He’s created his own reality and apparently doesn’t want to be distracted by the facts.

There was no crime committed by Cheney or Armitage. Patrick Fitzgerald investigated that for two years and only came up with an investigation-related crime, Libby’s perjury. There was no underlying crime regarding the leak, or Fitz would have filed charges. He desperately wanted to, really wanted to be a big shot with the media kissing his ass, but there was no crime. Not even that smelly, media-hungry creep could find a crime. And he was thoroughly unprofessional in his statements to the press, hinting at at crime for which he had no evidence.

Remember when AB was at WABC one Sunday night (I was in the habit of tuning in early for Drudge's 1/2 NYC warm-up show.), and Hannity called in to give him grief for some thing or another.

Great live radio, but I came in towards the end, just before AB left with his tail between his legs.

Did Baldwin ask for Sandy Berger to be prosecuted for stealing classified documents? These duplicitous bastards simply hate the conservative that has a set big enough to not be politically correct.

A Baldwin with IQ approaching room temperature?

Assumes facts not in evidence...

When Richard Armitage finally acknowledged last week that he was my source three years ago in revealing Valerie Plame Wilson as a CIA employee, the former deputy secretary of state’s interviews obscured what he really did. I want to set the record straight based on firsthand knowledge.

The man should read more often, too much MSNBC!

"yet the media NOW IGNORE the private who stole the info because they found out he’s a queer and stole the info because of his don’t ask views."

The media's lack of interest in Bradley Manning is indeed quite telling. Fascinating in fact. Damning. I raised this issue with a local reporter a few days ago and she never responded - and she usually does.

I think it's because she had no answer, and that it is indeed true they're ignoring Manning because of the gay angle. They investiagted Joe the Plumber more for asking Obama a pointed question than they've investigated Manning for a major crime with international repurcussions. Is there any doubt at all that if the leaker were a Tea Party sympathizer the media would have had a feeding frenzy checking him out?

Why do they keep repeating this false and tired meme? Cheney did not out her! Neither did Libby!

I will agree to give Assange immunity if he can produce Obama’s long form birth certificate, his school transcripts and applications, and the tape being held by the LA Times.

Didn’t Wiki-Leaks prove that the administration was without fault in the “plane” affair? It thought those documents were conclusive.

Has it been established that all the data leaked to Assange came from Manning?

exactly, I have written to FOX, CNN, and asked them why at first they reported about Manning but as soon as they found out he was a homosexual and the reason why he stole the documents they stopped reporting and now the focus is on wikileaks.

No answer and now the public and congress talk about wikileaks but ignore the homosexual who caused all this mess.

Yes and I remember the day the media found out about Manning being a homosexual and why he stole the document, the media covered that morning and stopped ever since of talking about that part of the story.
