Governor Palin has what it takes. You can be sure of that.

I'm not sure that she has what it takes to win. Her numbers with independents are not promising.

I like her a lot but am not jumping on the bandwagon until I see evidence that she can win independents. I have no interest in a nominee who cannot defeat the RAT candidate.

I am with you. I like her. She says the right things, and I don’t think it is an act. The “but” is that she is a polarizing figure, and I don’t know if greater exposure during the primaries is going to help her win over the independents or simply deepen the divide. Getting Obama out of office is the most important goal. Going down in idelogiocal flames isn’t going to get us there. So, I am in “wait and see” mode on Governor Palin. She was the only good thing to happen in 2008, but I am not ready yet to jump on the bandwagon for her.

She has very good conservative instincts and when she takes her time to think things thru always seems to arrive at the correct conclusion. She is prone to mis-speak at times and occasionally appears a glib light weight, she will have to work at that but right now I don't see anyone even remotely as good. Also, she is a proven reformer, something badly needed in DC.

Here’s an idea. IF you REALLY “like her ALOT”, how about rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty by helping get her message out to win them over instead of riding the fence and waiting till she’s twenty points ahead before you “give her your endorsement” so to speak. Kind of reminds me of a Romney style politics. Your “I like her alot but...” says alot.

You poor thing.

What ever would you have done in 1980, when the media narrative was Reagan was “too dumb’ and “not a serious candidate.”

EVERY poll had him losing to Carter in a landslide before he won the nomination (the establishment did NOT want him)

If we ever want to break the cycle of RINO’s (Nixon, Ford, Bush, Dole, Bush, McCain, Romney?) we need to get behind a real conservative and do so early.

The vast majority of Americans agree with Palin on the issues, she just has to overcome the false narrative that has been advanced to destroy her. Luckily, she has the truth on her side and that won’t be hard to do.

If she wants it, she will sin the nomination in a cakewalk and the White House in a landslide.

One reason that independents my not be flocking to Sarah's side is that they've bought into the MSM/rat lies about her. If she is the nominee, she'll have all attention focused on her and she will have an opportunity, by word and deed, to set the record straight. I think a lot of independents will come to have a positive view of her...especially if the option is four more years of doom and gloom and socialism from Obama.

Yeah, that's the ticket! Wait to give your support until others do it first. If they are thinking the same way as you are, the nominee who you "like a lot" doesn't get the support necessary to defeat the RAT candidate. That way, you end up being "right" which just feels so good, doesn't it? It probably tops the feeling you get each time Obama says "I won" or "I'm the President" and knowing your "wait-and-see" attitude could get him a second term.

I have a good idea. If you like her a lot, think about the reasons why and then tell those over-pondering independents they need to follow you onto the bandwagon. ;-)
