Announcing a sub panel to “study” something is an effective way of killing any proposed action on said policy. We know that these “sub panels” and “studies” never go anywhere which Palin would have known as well. It was a way of insulating herself from criticism from the enviro-weenie crowd, when at the time denying man-made “global warming” was tantamount to denying the holocaust. So she strategically “dithered” to prevent a harmful economic policy.
Since Climategate and Mr. Gore’s fall from grace, the sheeple’s eyes have been opened. The rules have changed and she is able to be more outspoken than she would have as Governor several years ago when the Climate changers controlled the debate.

Just saying.
The meme from those of you here to disrupt, seems to have settled on the idea that Palin has a cult of personality.
If that’s a valid criticism, then state it from the context of your own cult.
That’s all I’m saying. Otherwise you’re simply being an agent provocateur.
The question becomes: on behalf of whom?
To: streetpreacher
Frankly sir, I am not. Your opinion of me is of no concern.
I am used to the complimentary attacks.

Your PDS is showing again!Yes my Perfectly Demonstrable Sanity shows up on these threads too. As opposed to the utter, mindless fealty otherwise displayed by the Palin Protectorate - or, PP, if you will.

Thank you. There is a backlash brewing against the attacks on this real American woman and her real American family.

"Thanks for post info on Palins EO re global warming."
I think that it is important to completely vet all those who are put before us as potential conservative leaders. There is just too much at stake to let someone have a free ride just because that person has been unfairly treated by the left and appears to be "one of us".

Also,I did not know much about Keynes during the election, but I have been positively impressed with what I have learned about him since then.

I also wrote in Tancredo in the election, and flat our refuse to vote the lessor of 2 evils.
When GW was running the second time I got talked into the lessor of two evils thing. When I look back at his second term, I see very little different than if Kerry won.
I have come to the conclusion that voting for a Rhino is like giving in to a 2 yr old who kicks you to get what they want... you just encourage bad behavior.
I supported Tancredo in the primaries because he ran on the hopes that his presence would force the Republican party to get serious about the problems created by lack of border security and by flooding the country with illegal aliens and guest workers. Tancredo is also acutely aware of how globalization and political correctness are contributing to the destruction of our nations sovereignty, culture, and middle class.

I must be missing all the Freepers for Obama around here. I see people that aren’t 100% sold on Palin though. You know, people who might find Pence, Barbour, or DeMint more to their liking.

Well, at least Mr. Keyes never supported the Law of the Sea Treaty. In fact, he was part of the Reagan foreign policy team that killed that sovereignty-killing monster back in the Eighties.
So, do you support LOST?
Yea, the LOST treaty is so much worse than supporting Reparations for Blacks.
Stop being a hypocrite EV.
As far as supporting LOST is concerned, I have not read up on it enough to fully understand it's impacts and the Pros and Cons.
My understanding, and it is a very surface understanding, is that it cedes some sovereignty, if that is the case, I am against it.
Furthermore, the last time Sarah said anything about the LOST Treaty was when she was a VP candidate for John McCain, and as you, and any other intelligent American Citizen knows, when you are VP, you publicly support the POTUS on his positions, period, even if you disagree with him on the issue.
So there is a bit of disenguous behaviour on your part on this issue where Sarah is concerned.

"Her signature was on the EO, so she is on record as supporting the steps it recommends. "
the Climate Change Sub-Cabinet shall develop recommendations on the following:
She supports that it should develop recommendations.
You're just being silly, I've no time for it.

Every body says they are against amnesty and proceed to say they are for immigration reform which they define as amnesty with conditions. Palin is for 'immigration reform' via registration, which is AMNESTY for ~40 million illegal aliens. She has the same position as McCain, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus,... .
Here's the O'Reilly transcript

The order recommends several steps that the committee should pursue. There are 15 separate points and several of them are far from anything a conservative could support. Her signature was on the EO, so she is on record as supporting the steps it recommends. She also repeated her support for carbon caps in the VP debate with Biden.
And since then she has come out completely against Cap-n-trade.
So what's your point?
To: algernonpj
Why the PDS? Palin endorsed your candidate Tancredo.

I knew you were a former Keyes operative but are you actually “the chairman of a third party supporting Alan Keyes”?
You have to admit that kills any objectivity for anything you present here. At least you’re honest in who you still support, although Keyes will never be President. With a conservative like Sarah at the head of the ticket, he wouldn’t even be able to garner enough disaffected conservatives to be a spoiler.

Actually, her support for LOST was official support, on Alaska state gubernatorial letterhead. It had nothing to do with the McCain campaign.
And you’re doing nothing more than trying to deflect the matter.
