"At this point, the Transportation Security Administration, in consultation with our counter-terrorism experts, have indicated to me that the procedures that they've been putting in place are the only ones right now that they consider to be effective against the kind of threat that we saw in the Christmas Day bombing.

I understand people's frustrations ... and have asked TSA for assurances that what we're doing is the only way to assure the American people's safety ... One of the most frustrating aspects of this fight against terrorism is that it has created huge inconveniences.

Every week I meet with my counter-terrorism team and I'm constantly asking them whether what we're doing is absolutely necessary."

I think the new procedures are in response to the underwear bomber of a year ago...yes a year ago. Why did the Obama administration wait a year for this if the threat of exploding underwear is so strong? Notice they waited until after the elections, they knew what they were doing and what the reaction would be. Seems they are guided more by politics than security.

Obama may not ne apable of destroyinng Ameerica on his own. But he has a few under him that are.Eric Holder is one,Janet Napolitano is another ,along with various other obscure fascists whose names have been secreted from the public: those who write bogus risk assessments for Homeland Security, based on political ideology for example, instead of genuine intel.

America must fight this now. We did not chose this battleground, nor did we chose the timing. This is the nature of such demographic warfare.

If we do not fight it now, and win, then we will not win at the ballot box and will be left to the sole remedy of our founding fathers.

IMHO Obama and the TSA need to be figuratively crucified on this.And it needs to happen ASAP. Custodial janitors without the status of law enforcement have no business violating the 4th amendment rights of Americans, perpetrating warrantless searches on us with no probable cause, all because the president has an ideology that classifies profiling and intelligence data as rascist?

I say we get them now, and lay them low.Call it a pre-emptive strike. Call on all TSA workers to go on strike or resign for being required to perpetrate these crimes against innocent Americans.

Call for the impeachment and resignation of Obama, Napolitano and Holder. Pistole is being offered as a sacrificial lamb.His head is not enough.He will be replaced by someone worse.

Only those who fit the terrorst middle eastern profile should be required to be scanned or patted down. All of this search and assault crime by TSA is being perpetrated to avoid that strategic requirement. This idoicy will also guarantee that a terrorist attack over the holidays will be successful.SHAME!

This crime is not only wrong, it is designed to cover Obamas A$$ should an attack be successful, while guranteeing the success of an attack ( We can absorb an attack....Obama......we did all we could etc.....).

This is very serious business. The lives of many Americans depend on our turning this back to real security based on profiling and intel. The people's safety needs to trump presidential fascist political correctness.Right NOW there is no airport security.The gates are wide open for terrorists to succeed, a point lost on most in this scuffle.Get adults back in charge of the security of America.

These are NOT the people who caused 9/11, nor are they the type of person who perpetrated the terrorist attempts last Christmas and Thanksgiving:

The people making decisions in this administration have no decency and therefore don’t think we have any sense of decency either. It’s been a few years since I was in law enforcement here in CA. When we put our hands on a subject, he had better be going to jail. The only lawful purpose of touching the person is to effect an arrest. That’s because people have a right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures. Watching the televised interviews with women who were traumatized by the immodest contact, disabled people who were embarrassed, and children who were violated is an embarrassment to our country.

The logic that the public good (prevention of acts of terror) justifies violating the 4th Amendment should carry through to buses, trains, public sporting events,and concerts if it applies to aircraft. There are more people at a concert than can fit in a 767. If it is justifiable to search everyone for evidence of a crime that has not been committed, then it would certainly follow that police should be able to search everyone in the area when a crime has been committed. Seems like that’s not constitutional.

The thinking involved in this decision is the same as the left uses against firearms... it is the object that commits the offense, not the person. Rather than searching everyone for objects (that could be any size, shape, or substance),we should be making an effort to identify likely terrorists by profiling them.

The only way we change this is by refusing to allow it to continue. If it continues, the Constitution is out the window, and there is nothing to prevent a fascist dictatorship from replacing it. If they can grab our testicles with impunity, what provocation will it take to cause us to object? Our ancestors fought a revolution because the king couldn’t keep his hands off of their money. Now 240 some years later, those ancestors would be astonished to know what the government they established was doing with their hands.
