China 'hijacked' highly sensitive Internet traffic on US government and military websites earlier this year, it has been revealed.

Vast amounts of data to major corporate websites and U.S. military and government sites were routed via Chinese servers for 18 minutes in April. The incident occurred when China Telecom sent incorrect routing information which told US and other foreign Internet traffic to travel through Chinese servers.

Other servers around the world quickly adopted these paths, routing all traffic to about 15 percent of the internet’s destinations through servers located in China.

Among traffic rerouted via China was that destined for the websites of the US Senate, the Office of the Secretary of Defence, Nasa and the Commerce Department.

That’s a test, just in case our own government can’t shut down the internet. Chicoms showing Obambi’s FCC how it’s done.

The only real internet security is an air gap. We need a national secure net for defense and energy.

The next war will be virtual. One week without internet traffic would decimate our economy.

Nobody needs to use armies and bombs anymore. We’re dumping our vast fortune into the purchase and upkeep of a vast military that become more obsolete every day. All the Chinese need is a bunch of hacker kids.

We apparently won’t even notice there’s a war until the Chinese tell us that we lost it.

I can think of no better way to obtain compromising information on politicians and corporate executives for the purposes of blackmail than to “hijack” vast amounts of internet traffic.

Incorrect. You only need to occupy land that there is a NEED for occupying. Otherwise you can simply destroy. It's what we should do with nations that attack us, or shield those that attack us.

Oh, they don’t need to occupy it with soldiers. You occupy it with office management. You own the corporations that put people to work. You take over state governments. You move your own soldiers into the American military bases.

It doesn’t really matter to most of the people who’s in charge - they are still answerable to the same title. They see their lives unchanged, for the most part. They have the same system of rewards, the same expectations of their work and neighborhood. But the wealth that they are producing, and the taxes that they pay, go to the Chinese nation-corporations.

Well, what *would* change would be prisons. There would be a huge surge in prison construction. It would be needed, because every person who said anything potentially critical of the government would be sent to prison, where they will serve decades making cheap factory goods.

Do you really have to physically occupy a nation’s land, if you control every bit of their financial wealth?
