The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is warning that any would-be commercial airline passenger who enters an airport checkpoint and then refuses to undergo the method of inspection designated by TSA will not be allowed to fly and also will not be permitted to simply leave the airport.
That person will have to remain on the premises to be questioned by the TSA and possibly by local law enforcement. Anyone refusing faces fines up to $11,000 and possible arrest.
"Once a person submits to the screening process, they can not just decide to leave that process," says Sari Koshetz, regional TSA spokesperson, based in Miami.

It strikes me that one could kill a hell of a lot more people in the screening line in most of the larger airports. Several thousand with a properly constructed claymore type. My simplistic solution is place muslims in special seats that have tazer probes attached to them. They cannot get up from their seat for the entire flight. If they unbuckle the seatbelt the tazer probes whack them, if they start to act up, the flight attendant can whack them, or just let any red blooded american whack them just for in-flight entertainment.
I don't know when it started. I flew to Israel for the first time in the early 90s. It was thorough then - much more thorough than what ours even is today.
Definitely a possibility. There's something going on here and it isn't about security.
lol, say no more.
I just had my periodic re-investigation for my security clearance. Guess the Department of Defense did not do a thorough job as if I fly I am still subject to these atrocities. I hope to have a new job in the next few weeks as my current job was BRACd to Ft Benning, GA effective nest August. The new job does require some TDY trips to DC. Luckily it is only a 9 hour drive from here and with a 4WD Yukon not much worry about weather delays.
I would totally push this right back down their throat.
And THAT, my friend, is precisely what they want you to do. Don’t fly. Period. Everyone...just stop flying. Period. I agree that this is deliberate, intended to produce a specific outcome...not “security,” not “safety,” but an absolute intended, desired outcome. Reduce flying...reduce mobility...control. God help us. Be afraid...be very afraid.

Ditto everything you said!
Nope. Ain’t gonna work with me. I can take the train, the bus or I can drive. The only time I would have to fly is when I visit Asia. But I am looking into ship travel right now...
And I ain’t afraid of ‘em. Eff ‘em. BRING IT ON!
Guys, this is weird. Personally, I think it’s to cover for Muslims, but it may also be about crashing the (private) airline industry.
I am self employed and don’t travel at anybody else’s expense and don’t get any benefit from my travel, except from those few trips I can deduct because my business is international. I used to go to Europe a few times a year, but if this is the new way of air travel, I simply won’t fly anymore.
In the US, I can drive or go by train anywhere I need to go in a few days or a week or 10 days, even allowing for a bit of sightseeing. If I want to go to Europe, I’ll book on a ship. My jobs are time sensitive, but my travel is not.
However, the road warrior is not going to be able to do this and will have to submit to every useless humiliation in the universe. Why aren’t US businesses protesting this insanity?
Good advice Mr. Jim...actually I reloaded some ealier today.
For ‘some’ who refuse pat downs and scans, READ: Red State, White Males who once served in the military, and may not approve of Obamacare or Stimulus, see, they are getting a bit too uppity and enough 11k fines and we might be able to close that pesky budget deficit...
Round up the usual Conservatives....
Janet Napolitano ought to be prosecuted for posing as a DHS Secretary...
So, is that like the official national trouser snake?
For once the liberals are right on an issue! Do you want your three year old child sexually molested by some pervert TSA agent? Do you want your genitals fondled? What about your wife how do you feel about someone groping her in a way that would get a normal person thrown in the slammer for 50 years.
ALL THE TERRORISTS HAVE ONE THING IN COMMON....... THEY ALL LOOK ALIKE!!!
Wake up!
Watch the History Channel, the Military History Channel or History International or even check You Tube for Nazi Germany Gestapo and you will see scenes IDENTICAL to what is occurring inside airports throughout the United States.
This is ALL about political correctness. Instead of targeting Middle Eastern men between the ages of 15 and 40 the TSA are targeting three year old girls, women who suffered through breast cancer and have their breasts fondled, the elderly who are on oxygen!
As Ann Coulter stated, "what will happen when a terrorist uses on of their "private cavities" to hide an explosive? Are you willing to throw down your constitutional rights and let some pervert TSA agent give you a rectal exam in front of everyone?
That's where Janet Napolotano is taking us! If you think this is right you are in goose step with Big Sis and Zero!
My response is not to you, it is to those who defend this psychotic policy I forgot to address “all”, so sorry if that got you mixed up.
You have to admit that the new uniforms are snazzy.
