Sarah Palin Says She Could Beat Obama
ABC News ^ | Nov. 17, 2010 | MARY BRUCE

Sarah Palin says she is seriously considering a run for the White House, and she believes she could beat President Obama in 2012, the former Alaska governor told ABC News' Barbara Walters. "I'm looking at the lay of the land now, and ... trying to figure that out, if it's a good thing for the country, for the discourse, for my family, if it's a good thing," Palin said in an interview scheduled to air in full Dec. 9 on ABC as part of Walters' "10 Most Fascinating People" of 2010.

The Democrats are praying that they get to run against her.

I value the prayers of the GOP base more than the prayers of the anti-God liberals. Your name is Demon?

Has she not been one of Walter’s “most fascinating people” every year she since first came on the scene?

Not to mention she seems to have cultivated some kind of relationship with the National Review.

I don’t know what your point is, I know that you like to go after her children, but what does that post mean?

“Murkowski means nothing,,, Her tree way race was a silly anomaly. Anyone with a brain can see that she drew enough democrat votes designed to do nothing, but spoil the Tea party man.”

People went out of their way to write-in and vote for her. It shows that Palin has very little influence left even in her own state, a solid GOP state, during the biggest wave in history for conservatives.

They thought Carter would trounce Reagan, IIRC.

U.S. News -- Historic Whispers: Ronald Reagan Had Little Chance of Winning the Primary

"White House political strategists have concluded—regretfully—that Ronald Reagan is fading and will have little chance of winning the Republican presidential nomination in 1980. Why the regrets? Because Carter's aides are convinced that the conservative, 68-year-old former California governor is an easy target. (April 2, 1979)"

“The Democrats are praying that they get to run against her”

lol,, ,that must be why they are trying to knock her out BEFORE the primary. If they were hoping to run against Sarah, we would be hearing “Maverick” stories designed to STRENGTHEN her in the primary, the way they did with McCain.

I agree with you that the electorate will be looking for someone "safer." Not as a question of ideology, but as a question of competence. Palin may be fully competent, but I'm not sure a majority of voters will agree.

But it's pointless arguing about it. If she runs, the primaries will decide. I'm hoping she at least faces a good solid opponent in the primaries.

have you seen Obaman’s negatives? Sarah has time to do things her way (not McCain’s way, not Schmitt’s way).

Keep this crappy economy as it is (or worse) and “hope and change” will become an epithet for EPIC FAIL.

This is wide open on the GOP side. Let the voters decide.

"Her negatives are too high. Unlike on Dancing With The Stars Palin supporters will not be allowed to vote more than once."

At a similar time before election, Reagan's negatives were worse than Palin's are now. Gee, I wonder how THAT worked out.

Did you even watch the show ? It was not a run of the mill “Kate Plus 8” reality show trash. It was a very positive and intresting program.

I think she needs to run. She needs to prove the media and the Democrats wrong. Poke the eye of the tiger. And I was my daughters to grow up in an America where a female Christian conservative can be President if she earns it. I don’t want her to fade into a wasted political career like Dan Quayle. She can’t let them define her. She has to be stronger than that. She still has a lot to prove to the people that doubt her. im tired of seeing the bad guys kick us around.

Reagan won New York times two.
Your electoral vote breakdown giving Palin a victory?
If she’s going to win tell us how with the numbers.

It is an anomoly. It only says that the corrupt rhino wing of the party (which Sarah fought HARD) allied with the dems who knew they had no chance whatsoever.

The alaska senate campaign is a monument to establishment repubs pulling out all stops to fight the conservatives,, even to the point of aligning with democrats.
