I fell in love with the F-22 at the Fort Worth air show a few weeks ago.
My thoughts so far... this story is either very sad, or very odd.

"U.S. military helicopters and at least one C-130 have so far failed to turn up any sign of the missing fighter jet"
Of course, it's a STEALTH fighter.

Perhaps he was offered a billion to fly it to Siberia.

I heard it was so stealthy, it was still on the runway, didn’t even take-off!

Dropped off radar? That makes this a “dog bites man” story.

It's a wonder MSNBC hasn't blamed Sarah Palin.
Prayers for the crew.

God bless the men that fly and fight.
Fighter aircraft are dangerous just sitting on the ground, unfueled. I hope they find the pilot safe.

maybe the pilot took it home because he didn’t want to be groped at the airport on his next vacation & figured since he already had a fast plane...

No you mean the Chandong 22....
Remember this kid with the rubber face that snuck in the country? What if the pilot is drugged @ a Holiday Inn in a stuper and they snuck one by us with a rubber faced thief?
Or is their some Biometric system that is classifed to prevent this?

It's a wonder MSNBC hasn't blamed Sarah Palin. Read some of the reader comments. Some of the mentally ill liberals could not pass up the opportunity to use the situation to take a stab at Palin.

It could’ve been taken out by the same invisible sub from China that test fired a missile off the California coast a week or so ago.
Seriously though, we do lose a fair number of servicemen in accidents, especially on carriers. That’s bad enough.
Hopefully this is not a matter of a malicious nation testing us. That’d be worse. Another sign of America’s decline.
We need to reverse that decline.
