No surprise here: Vogue is out with its "Top 10 Best Dressed" list, and Michelle Obama has won the honor.
Branding Obama "The Independent" the fashion bible's website shows a photo of the first lady stepping off of a plane in a flowing blue and white dress.
Vogue has also released a "Best Dressed" edition that hits newsstands this week.
The special issue features Obama sporting designers Moschino, Peter Som, Tracy Reese, Narciso Rodriguez and others.
Vogue’s at-large editor, Andre Leon Talley says of Obama: "Style is not an afterthought to this wife and mother committed to national service; whether she is frolicking on the White House lawn in Converse or at an awards dinner in Michael Kors scarlet chiffon, she always looks elegant and appropriate to the occasion and to our modern times."

being serious.... the pant legs are too long without shoes with heels. she had to remove her shoes so the trouser legs are dragging on the brick. she is trying to hold both pant legs up off of the ground with one hand. i have actually done this with pj pant that were way too long and would get tangled around my toes, throwing me off balance. i could only use one hand because the other hand was holding a glass of iced tea. i would not, however, do this in public. what was she thinking?
okay, i don’t know why she has that stupid look on her face, but that is a really good color for her.

that ensemble would look much better on a very skinny gal... like my good friend... she would be able to wear this and look good... Michelle and her dressers have not found what looks best on her very strange figure...
But she's not holding a glass of iced tea or anything else. Both hands are completely free. Why would she use only one hand if both pant legs are too long? Any woman who has worn a full-length gown knows to use both hands to raise the dress so as not to step on it.
She’s lifting her pant leg as the pants are draggin...she’s likly stepping on them.
no idea why she would do it that way but that’s how it looks to me and if you look carefully you can tell that one pant leg is pulling a bit. are there other pics showing her using both hands? did she maybe need to use one hand to fix her head gear? no clue. like i said, what was she thinking.
