Hannity was surprised to hear a famous ex Air Force General tell him That Is A Missile, Shot From A Submarine! I quote retired Air Force Lieutenant General Tom McInerney (ex commander of 11th Air Force in Alaska) I spent 35 years flying fighters, and you can see the guidance system kick in, I have watched that film 10 times, I am absolutely certain that that is not an aircraft, but a sub launch ICBM missile!!! See the video and judge his words for yourself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LivRJOWrcpA&feature=player_embedded#! I will next post a clickable link.
Phoenix AZ.
“Precious bodily fluids..”
First two photos are of a Shuttle launch in 2002. The third is the photo of the missile.
IMHO, it was a missile fired last week. You be the judge...
What if the chinese or russians are able to hack into our subs and launch OUR missiles?
But FReepers on another thread say it’s high school physics that anyone should know this is a plane, as confirmed by someone who saw it posted on some other thread by someone...
LOL - me too!
Lehrer, Tom - song satirist extraordinaire.
Uh...um...
Huh?
Anyway, did you read the site?
I didnt see this segment, so thanks for posting this. After so many actual experts (as opposed to armchair guessers) saying this was a missile, Im convinced thats what it was. The only question remaining is, whose missile was it?
I had not seen it also. You are welcome. Did you notice that the insults are beginning already?
I saw the contrail photos and to my eyes there is no comparison.
1) No smoke spewing out of the back of the missile.
2) No tell tale corkscrew smoke plume typical of a missile and a missile only.
3) No bright red “fire” to be seen in the video excerpt coming out of the back of the rocket as it speeds away from us at a 45 degree angle heading North (North Pacific? North China?)
I tire
The list goes on and on. I can’t make these contrail truthers see if they will not see.
But
It is not a flat thin contrail passing over our heads in LA, going to AZ.
It is a missile launch, moving up and away from us, (not an “optical illusion”), and it is just like the ones many have seen many times from Pt. Mugu and Vandenberg ...
Listen to the interview and the video.
The man is very serious, very sure of his opinion, says “Ask any Navy or Air Force squadron anywhere in the world and they will agree with me: it is a sub based ICBM launch”.
Thomas G. McInerney, three star General: 4,100 flying hours. 407 combat missions.
Go on and insult him, contrail crazies ...
Maybe not replicated everyday. I see them all the time in fly-over country and they vary greatly depending on temperature and humidity at 35,000 feet. Either that or the North Koreans are launching missiles from subs in the Missouri river.
If it was a Chinese/Russian missile don’t you think that they would be bragging about it? the same thing with the twa 800 missile theory...if terrorist shot down something like that they would be on the news bragging about it...the first principle of terrorism is to terrorize...not to be silent about it...and the batteries on stinger missiles last only four to five years...
OK ... now the question; What Nation’s Sub and why so close to our shores undetected?
“And yes I asked friends who still work there and they confirmed no alert.’
And sure, they would tell you so you can post it on the internet...right.
I hear you. I’m not one to feed into conspiracy theories but each time I watch the video, I become more convinced that it was a missile.

question: Has no one been able to mathematically deduce the speed of this object? It seems that if there was a sufficient point of reference with which to arrive at a scale, then determining the velocity from the video shouldn’t be too difficult.
With a velocity, it should be easy to determine if it’s a missile, since a missile most definitely moves much faster than a passenger plane, right?
It’s somewhat disconcerting reading that retired Air Force Lieutenant General Tom McInerney took this position. A guy with that much experience should not be fooled into thinking this was a missile. There’s no doubt in my mind it was a jet and it’s contrail. People here still pushing the missile theory are eventually going to have to own up and admit they were fooled badly.
