Looking at the 43rd and 44th American presidents right now, it is worth reflecting that it was only the unpopularity of Bush and all he represented that enabled someone as inexperienced and unproven as Obama to ascend to power.
By the same token, perhaps only a performance in office as myopic, self-absorbed and hubristic as that of Obama could have brought about a Bush rehabilitation so swiftly.

While I disagreed with many of the things GWB did while in office, it has been a breath of fresh air to see and hear him over this past week as he has promoted his book. No lectures, no anti-Americanism and plenty of class.

Leave it to the British press to speak with more clarity than many American news outlets would do.

Comparing GW Bush to Barack Hussein Obama is a waste of time. America destroying, Obama, his America hating wife, Michelle and his entire ilk of America hating, America destroying, Democrats are not fit to take out the garbage of GW and Laura Bush!!! And.....the overwhelming numbers of the American people know it. End of story!!!

Obama is an Islamo-Marxist-Chicago-Gangster. Obama’s hate, lies and destruction are now visible to the masses. Obama can no longer use Bush as the fall guy. Bush is a bright light compared to Obama.
To: Savage Beast
Bush may be a RINO but he has always been genuine in his approach, and clearly loves his country. This imposter in the WH is a child.

In order to be missed you have to first GO AWAY. Something Clinton and Carter never learned.

Question from Matt Lauer: “Would you OK it (waterboarding) again?
Answer from GWB: “Yeah, I would.”
Any answer from Obama on any subject would be a five to ten minute, stumbling obfuscation.

I get your point, but based on the exact examples that you cited, I think that a comparison between the two Presidents is most enlightening and instructive. Guess who comes out looking more “Presidential.”
