Obamas Claiming More Power Over Americans Than King George III, Says Virginia Attorney General Friday, November 12, 2010 By Terence P. Jeffrey
Virginia Atty. Gen. Ken Cuccinelli, who has filed a federal lawsuit seeking to overturn the health-care law signed by President Barack Obama last March, says Obama and the Congress that enacted that law--which mandates that individuals must buy government-approved health insurance plans--are seeking a power over the lives of Americans that even King George III did not claim to possess.
We now have a Congress and a president who believe they can order you to buy a product when King George III and the Parliament of Great Britain, whom we rebelled against, acknowledged that they could not, Cuccinelli said in a video interview with CNSNews.com.

The US government passed George III’s mark long ago.
So am I. One of the best votes I ever cast.
Daniel 8:23-25 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
And through his policy also he shall cause craft (fraud, deceit, treachery) to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.”

He’s an incredibly brilliant Constitutionalist!
I talk with him on Facebook sometimes.
We are fortunate to have him here in VA.
Actually, under the mercantilism policies of the British crown, they probably did claim to be able to order people to buy certain things. At least, if they wanted to eat or drink tea or have manufactured goods, they had to buy from Britain, and could only sell back what they were allowed to. But I don’t think they were ordered to buy anything specific.
Yes, yes and yes. I have especially enjoyed following him on Facebook, and I get those emails, too. Nice to know one of our elected officials is doing exactly what he is supposed to do.

My motto also, and my tag-line. The preservation of the inalienable rights endowed to us by our Creator, requires citizens to be ever vigilant against tyranny. The tyranny of the Statists of whatever political party. Deo Vindice.
It occurs to me that the title of a certain book about life at sea comes near to being the perfect nickname for Obama. Alas, it contains a term considered politically incorrect. Of course if Conrad had written The Cracker of the Narcissus instead then it would still work considering that his mother was lily white and none would object to it.
